AFTER posting an explicit photo of teenage singer-actress Miley Cyrus on Twitter, blogger Perez Hilton is facing public outrage and potential legal consequences.
The offensive photo showed the Disney teen queen, 17, getting out of a car in a white dress and supposedly not wearing underwear, People magazine reports.
Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira Jr., could potentially be facing child-pornography charges because Cyrus is a minor.
The controversial celebrity blogger posted a response on his website Tuesday, wearing “fake fur”, to address what he considered to be a “fake controversy".
“Do you think Miley is that stupid to be out in public without panties?” Hilton said.
He argued that other paparazzi photos from that day clearly showed the starlet wearing underwear.
Hilton wanted to post the photo because he believed Cyrus was leaving the car in a “very unladylike fashion”, not denying that he has nicknamed her “slutty Cyrus” on his blog.
Hilton also asserted that though he may like to be controversial, he does not want to go to jail.
