I think I read there are 6,000 restaurants in HK so plenty of choice, these just my personal faves.
Kowloon side
Jimmy's Kitchen (great steaks, great ambiance). Ashley Rd TST. Try the Fillet Mignon or the Chicken Madras. Great wine list.
After dinner monger: Haris Bar.

Sabatini (Italian). Inside the Royal Garden Hotel TST East. Try the Lasagne. True Italian Chef. Wondering singing guitar trio.
After dinner monger: Sticky Fingers.

Miso (Delicious Japanese). Harbour City Canton Rd. Inside the Marco Polo Prince Hotel arcade. Love the sashimi, beef cubes & chicken wings.
After dinner monger: lots of walkups in Hankow Rd just 5 minutes walk.

Fat Angelos TST (Italian. 6 locations but TST is the best). Great taste, Great prices, HUGE servings.
After dinner monger: Hari's Bar or Sticky Fingers. Lots of Walk Ups on Nathan and Mody Roads.

Lan Kwai Fong (an area FULL of dozens of restaurants and bars). Cantonese, Italian, Mexican, Thai, English... everything!
After dinner monger: Try your luck in the Bars in LKF or simply catch a taxi to Wan Chai and do Lockhart and Jaffe Rds.

Mes Amis (Wine Bar, Tapas, Finger Food). Lockhart Rd. Meat balls are good, as are the chicken skewers.
After dinner monger: you're on Lockhart Rd... you'll work it out.
