Then you'll want to go into your gmail dashboard and check your web history for both searches AND maps. Gmail stores all your searches and places you've mapped until you manually tell it to stop doing so. You'll also have to select all your history and delete it. Last year I had changed my settings in the Google search bar so that my history was always erased after each search, however it still kept every search I had done PRIOR to that point . . . including the search string, "Hiding Trannie Prostitute Relationships From Senate Confirmation Committee"
Anyway, you may be surfing anonymously now, and clearing your history, but could still have ancient history in your Google dashboard. I do not know if using the "privacy mode" affects this, as I clear my stuff and log out manually (I was presuming this would be MORE reliable, guess not!
