I'm not a King, I'm not a moderator. You know that I'm reluctant to neg anyone and  I don't mean to overstep any bounds here, but I am seriously asking you to quit the serial posting and stop the gratuitous "thank yous" and one liners. Look, by now we all know who SEAJ is and what he's like, and I admit I too sometimes cringe at the effect of his presence on the forum, especially to those who are, shall we say, less discerning, such as, but not exclusively, newbies... For new users, he doesn't half make this place look daunting and difficult with the picture he paints of life on here! By highlighting the negative and over-praising the positive (sometimes to embarrassment), at least this is the cumulative effect I see - Bros correct me if it feels different though, please! I've read the fight club posts and I know there have been tensions between Butler and SEAJ. It's not to say that I excuse and condone what Butler did by going and opening a new thread calling out someone. I am merely saying I know how he feels. There has been a lot of posts by SEAJ calling on members to actively monitor newbies and I was one who supported his intent on doing so. But I guess he went a bit too far and just kept hounding members to follow his lead. I said in my posts in the fight club that we are not mods and should keep out of it and if members want to monitor newbies then that's their own prerogative. I dont know if SEAJ wanted everyone to comply and follow him to set an exmaple but I guess it annoyed Butler and several other members.

Right now, the biggest single violator of the posting guidelines is actually SEAJ.  If SEAJ was negged for all his "Thank you" posts and "Good Advise" replies he'd be in deeper neg territory than a Newbie.  And if we penalized him for his serial posting it would be even worse.  The guy's been warned for months by persons more senior and knowledgeable than me against continuing his practice of replying to his own posts over and over.  He's gotten far more leeway than any Newbie in this regard. Just call me an opponent of hypocrisy.  I've always been very reluctant to neg anyone, but if we were to apply King SEAJ's rule fairly, the poster who would receive the most penalties would be SEAJ himself. He is a King and with that status comes the leeway newbies are not afforded. Also I have 600+ posts in the past month, am i considered a serial poster as well? Are you upset that he has King status because of his multiple posts in the fight club or because he's championing others to neg newbies henceforth making him a hypocrite.

How many of those posts are informative?  I'm guessing a majority since he's earned his status thus far. If the posts are one-liners, then how about (a) letting mods do their job  (b) remind him there and then or  (c) scroll down and ignore it. It's not difficult to navigate and/or ignore the replies that you don't feel is relevant.  There are avatars where I don't particularly like, so I scroll faster to ignore.  There are replies that are so long-winded that I skip all the mumbo-jumbo to read the next reply.  There are pics I find very long to load or are side-ways, but hey, scroll through it and/or read what interests you.
