MJ, PG, Big2?

Hi bros, was wondering if anyone here plays Mahjong? Or even better, 'Pie Gow'? PG is more of a Sunday thing when we have enough people playing but MJ has always been a favourite of mine. Failing a good session of Big2 never fails to hit the spot. God I love a good 'friendly' gamble..

yep, i can play all 3, but not as often as i wanted to
when i went to HK a few years ago i was very tempted to walk in to the MJ parlour, just to see how they play..but was with families who doesn't like gambling
but i did see they have mj arcade games there, and 1 thing i take notice is that everyone plays soo fast...

Paigow I assume you mean the tile version right?  I learned to play this a few years back, but never really dared to play in casinos since I am still a newbie to this and takes forever to read the hands.  I also learned to play "tin gow" from my father.

PaiGow is my all time favourite and possibly the deadiest of the 3 games. The turnover is so quick and stakes can be as much as you like, as long as the bank is willing to take you bet. So many times I've heard of people who have worked so hard and lost it all in a night of PG.
MJ with some friends/family is always fun. Always best with a bit of chit chat and BS cos it makes it all the more enjoyable.
So, anyone up for a session sometime? And I'm not talking 4P here

Paigow is the best in vegas.... goto the $10 tables and just play for like 30 mins while u get free beers, most of the time in paigow i break even bc of how the game is, but those quarters they give u are so damn annoying

Every time I go to a casino, I always regret that I don't know how play Pai-Gow poker.  And I never did learn how to play MJ.  But my game of choice is definitely "Big-2"!  It's a shame they don't play that in the casinos here in the states.  I don't suppose they have that in the casinos in Macau, do they?

Are we talking about the same PG here? The ones I'm talking about are black and you get dealt 4 a time and you have to have a 'head' and a 'tail'. You win money when BOTH head and tail beats the dealer. Same game?

Pai gow poker is easy if you know the poker rankings.  My favorite to kill time and get free drinks...I wish they have in Macau

I see. Haven't been to Vegas before but nice to know they have it there too. The only time I've played PG legally was on one of those cruise liners going from HK to China. In HK, I play down at my friend's village with a bunch of guys who've most likely come back from a mongering venture
