#8 Post at 19-9-2009 06:08  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L If you're looking for lighter-skinned girls I'd avoid Nana and Soi Cowboy as well.   Go to Thanon Ratchadaphisek Road, where more luxurious places like Poseidon is at.  Go to the upper floors.  That's where the good looking ones are at.  They are pretty expensive though, relatively speaking - $700-$2000HKD I would say.

The "KRÁP/ KHÁ" at the end of each phrase represents male / female particles that are used as part of polite speech.  A man would conclude with "KRÁP"...  a woman would finish the phrase with "KHÁ"... For example, phrase #7 spoken by a man to a woman would be...  "KHUN SUǍY MÂAK KRÁP"  [make sure that when you say "SUǍY" that you go down in tone on the first part of the word and rise in tone at the end] Two other simple phrases...  "Khawp khun krap"  means "thank you" And my all-time-favorite, most useful Thai phrase...  "Mai ow, khawp khun krap" means "No, I don't want any, thank you!"  If you walk down Sukhumvit on a crowded day, you will find this very useful!
