HK/China kept starlets

I read a while back something about this wealthy HK business man who went bankrupt and started to spill the beans on the going-on's
of some famous female stars in the HK tv/movie/music industry.  Also A friend of mine was in HK and had an episode with the girl that played
the head gangster's wife in the HK movie 'The Mission'.  It made me think about how common this sort of thing is in HK/China.

My questions are this: Who was named in that episode, i know Carina Lau Ka Ling was one of the supposed kept women.  and can anyone
find the original article and get it translated? and is there any known starlets who do this sort of thing?  Maybe some brothers here have
even experienced their charms? please share.

oh, sorry if this was already covered in a previous thread
I did a few searches and did not come up with anything, so i think this might be a new or at least little touched upon subject.

i personally think that models and celebs are just high priced WG's.  i mean, the entertainment industry is run by gangsters and everyone just sleeps their way to the top.

anyway, unfortunately, i don't know the article you're talking about.

we've heard countlless stories of singers/models/actresses being where they are today because of what they did for whom

i for one am not suprised at all this is prevalent in the hk entertainemnt bizz...for wealthy businessmens i heard that it cost around $10,000 for overnight  to book a standard pop singer/model

here is part of the article where i read it

"In March 2002, an edition of East Weekly published photos exposing Sun as one of Law’s “kept women”. The article claimed that Sun was one of many HK female celebrities that Law “kept” by paying upwards of HK$500,000 a month. In addition to Sun, East Weekly alleged that Anita Yuen Wing-Yi, Carina Lau Ka-Ling, Teresa Mak Ka-Kei and Maggie Q — among others — were actresses that were “kept” by Law at one point or another.

Law, a billionaire real estate mogul in the early-1990s, was hit hard by the Asian economic crisis of the late-1990s. He incurred a heavy debt and attempted to commit suicide in December 2000. In January 2005, he was arrested on drug charges in Macau. Earlier this year, he was sentenced to two years in jail on those charges and fined 10,000 Macanse pacatas."

I got it from http://www.lovehkfilm.com/blog/juiyinjong/2007/11/

can anyone dig up the originals?
