Thought I'd share a website that shows Photoshop "in action" so the speak > http://detouch.org/de-touch/med.php You can stop the animation by clicking on the slider below the photo, and then you can drag the slider yourself to see the effects at work in slower motion. There are tons of photos on there, some famous people too. Enjoy.

I knew that Photoshop is powerful yet seeing the difference with my own eyes is an eye opener. We should have some simple tool to tell photoshopped pics from real ones. just like the UV ight for fake bank notes...

#8 Post at 6-7-2009 18:09  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Photoshop is a powerful tool but also requires the user to have a concept of what is beautiful/desired to make the photos look nice. It seems most of the PS'ed photos at 141 just involves lightnening skin colour, enlarging the eyes, removing blemishes and smoothing the jaw line.  The eyes usually freaks me out as it end up doll-like.

But then again, tech moves so fast these days... #8 @Kraven3 has it correct. Once you understand Photoshop and what it can do, and assuming you have an artist eye when it comes to the human form, you can start to spot bad photoshops, and typical photoshop techniques. However, really skilled photoshops can be very difficult, if not impossible to spot. Also, some of the poses the WGs strike in their photos are also a bit of a give-away as to what you might be walking into... Any girl holding her forearm across her tummy area is probably covering up some pudge, and the chances are the 141 photoshopers have smoothed it out, and in many cases, it seems that the girls belly button gets erased in the process hahah!
