Went to element today to go watch the new transformers movie...Must say it has got to be my favourite movie of all time now...

Grew up watching and playing transformers.  Its a definately must see for transformer fans.

Those who are not transformers fans should still go watch it as Megan Fox lead actress in the film is an absolute goddess.  I'm in love with her after watching her in this film!

Won't give the story away but hey i loved it!!!

Megan Fox is phenomenal.

The reviews on rottentomatoes haven't been too great.  One of the criticisms was that it was really hard to tell the different robots apart.  Did you find that to be true?

at the beginning yes, but i'm a fan and didn't find it too difficult

i don't think alot of people is going to watch the movie cause of the plot, so to said you can't telll the difference between them is not that important

I Really want to watch it!!! is it better then the 1st one?

I grew up watching Transformers and I am a fanboy!!  But this one was disappointing. The 1st was better, there are too many flaws in this one. I personally think this one is a rental.

Here are some issues I found:
1. It was way too long
2. The plot took too long to develop...like 60 mins into the movie
3. Rips off other Sci-fi flicks, Terminator, Species, Gremlins, and Matrix
4. Lots of transformers, but you don't who they
5. When the fuck did the humans have weapons to destroy transformers with 1 shot?  
6. When did transformers have "balls"
7. The movie is about Transformers and not Sam.  The entire movie follows Sam.  The movie should've been called "Sam and his robot alien friends"
8. Why are all the transformers silver and grey except Prime and Bumblebee
9. How did old Transformers have better technology, ie. Jetfire
10. Why is Jetfire a fuckin pirate?  How did he learn to speak British english???  Prime learn english from the "World Wide Web"
11. Soundwave sucked ass.
12. 2 annoying autobots that talk like black people, where black people don't even talk like that anymore.

I hope Michael Bay makes the 3rd one better!!

in my homwtown..alot ppl watch transformer..da cinema is full everyday..

The film was mediocre at best.  As mentioned before....too long. The ending was a bit too deus ex machina. All of a sudden humans have awesome weapons to destroy deceptions.  A secret weapon that hasn't been used....not good enough michael bay. You should be ashamed of yourself.

The first one was much better.

I prefer watching the cartoon movie....

Search for "primes rude awakening" it's pretty good.

I don't know, must be my personal taste that the film was good.  Just into robots hot chicks and explosoins.  To add to the effect i went to the cinema in the Element shopping centre where the seats vibrate with every explosion....which was pretty cool i thought for my first experience.

Looks like this movie came through with $112 million in the US box office.  The usual extrapolation is that a movie generally goes on to make 3 times it's opening weekend, so looks like this is a monster hit.

apparently it got some of the shittiest reviews.  it's one the worst reviewed block busters of all time.

anyway, i watched it, and i was entertained.  i wanted to see action and explosions and megan fox (and i got her with a nice dorm room bonus as well).  i got what i wanted in good quantities.  i'm happy.

i dont understand what the critics are expecting. its a summer blockbuster, cars, women, explosions. easy formula.

YOU MUST SEE IT IN IMAX . the sound, the picture, just blew me away.

I saw it twice already, i picked up a few more things the second time around.

So the other big winner this summer is apparently Up.  Sort of the polar opposite of this movie since a) there's very little violence or action relative to transformers, b) the storyline is apparently very good, and c) it was reviewed very well.  For those of you who have seen both movies, and actually enjoyed transformers, which movie was better?

Transformer 2 is one of the biggest move for this summer, its definitely my favorite and I am actually going to watch it again for three good reason.

1) Megan Fox!
2) Megan Fox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   
3) Military!

I actually think Transformers Two Revenge Of The Fallen, is far better then Transformer 1, in the first it was good and interesting but a lot of it was just about Sam and Megan Fox trying to get together, sure they had fights but wasn't epic like the 2nd one.

The second one had a good choice of romance, military and more fights that even at Elements (where I went) the cinema was cheering!

Still when Transformer 2 comes out on BT, I'm going to download it.

There's rumor that Shia LaBeouf & Megan Fox are dating, I wouldn't be surprise if they were , still Megan Fox is hot and sexy

Awesome! Let's watch the entire transformers series starting with more than meets the eye and moving onto beastwars....then why not all the movies and of course we can't forget the original animated movie which I still think was great.

hey...and not forgetting Cookie Monster from the sasame street....my favourite childhood edcational channel....my mum make me watched it before I can go out play with my marbles...

Actually, I don't really think it's all that surprising that some older might be into it.  I'm 35, and I played with transformers when they originally came out, when I was like 8 or so.  So I would actually think that I'd be more into than someone who's 18 and perhaps missed the first wave.
