The information on this Forum, and the DB is a bit overwhelming, so it's easy to get lost. However, If you read through reports in the various Hong Kong sections most of this stuff should become clear. Start with the descriptions:

The "Hotel walk-in" will require bookings through an agent who will tell you where to go. I have no experience with this, but it's pretty clear from the reviews.

"141 walk-up" is buildings (such as Fuji in Causeway Bay, or King Hing in Monkok). In the DB you probably won't find any listings for those two buildings as most of the girls are here for a short time. The long-term girls in buildings like Phoenix Apartments (Causeway Bay) do advertise, but here will be lots of other girls in that building who don't. It's possible to make appointments, but most of us just wander around an knock on doors. That's most of the punting I've done in HK. I wrote down the room numbers I was interested in from the DB. The DB has maps and pictures so you can find the entrances. Prostitution is legal in HK, so you don't have any serious personal worries. If the girl is working on a tourist visa, that is illegal, but her problem. There is a very very small chance that there is a raid looking for illegal workers but generally the worst that can happen is that you have to leave before the end of your session...

Regarding the "7-day buddy" qualifier, it may simply mean that they are spending a week in Hong Kong. I searched the forum in order to find out more, to no avail though.
