Now that we have a dedicated subforum for Thailand, I thought it might be a good idea to have a central mongering-related discussion thread focused on Thailand. A place to share thoughts, questions and feedback which wouldn't necessarily fall into any specific reports.

I'll start with why Thailand is my new favourite travel destination.

It's often been said that you can get a 5-star hotel in Thailand for 3-star prices. That's not true. Definitely this was possible ten years ago, but not today. But international hotel brands in Thailand are easily available at lower rates than in Hong Kong. That means you can treat yourself to some luxury without breaking the bank.

The food is great. Prices from street food, to cafes to not to be missed restaurants are easily cheaper than Hong Kong. I end up having more international food in Bangkok than I would in Hong Kong because the quality is equal but prices are lower.

There are girls everywhere! I've had trips to Bangkok where I never went close to Soi Cowboy or the Nana Entertainment Plaza. Massages, handjobs, blowjob bars, soapies, gogo bars, outcalls, incalls (if you understand Thai) -- It's all available for your preference.

So many people go to Thailand for vacation that no one would guess that your purpose for going is to have as much sex with girls as possible. The culture, temples and beaches are beautiful. Shopping (for non-name brands) is cheaper than Hong Kong. Food options are fantastic. A weekend bender (in both slang meanings of the word lol) is quick, easy and cheap to do.

Bangkok is only 3 hours away from Hong Kong. More realistically, it's probably about 8 hours door to door (1.5h to HKIA, arrive 1.5h early for your flight, 3h flight, 1h to exit the BKK airport, 1h to your hotel) -- which is still rather quick to get from your home to your hotel in another country.

@macau, be more specific. Do you mean cities in Thailand or places for sex?

I definitely agree with most of the OP. I'm really pleased with what kind of accommodations I can get for about 500HKD/night in BKK and the prices for women are better, too.

Keep it simple. Bangkok is convenient and easy for travelers. Lots of hotels, guesthouses and Airbnbs to choose from. Transportation by BTS skytrain or MRT subway is easy to get to a lot of places -- though not to a lot of tourist sites. Malls have an entire floor, and sometimes two or three, dedicated to restaurants. If a place is all Thai, you can just go to the next place which has English -- and some also have signs in Chinese now.

Once you get a sense of Bangkok, you can venture out of the central areas and throughout the city to see, do and eat other things.

For girls, outcalls are very easy. You have the Smooci.com ad platform. I tend to email the outcall agency directly and it's never been an issue using my real email address and phone number. Massage shops are good if you prefer to look before buying. Gogo bars do pressure you into buying lady drinks, but it's nowhere near as bad as in Wan Chai. I tip the waitress too much as I prefer to be left alone to eyeball the girls on stage.

Anyway, I was in BK some time agao.  Before my trip, I did my homework and was informed that there are few locations to find Russian and East European WG (http://www.thaimbc.com/2017/09/2 ... stitutes-bangkok/).  First place I tried was Rajah Hotel on Soi4.  Apparently, the hotel was renovated few months ago.  Now, it has a higher star rating.  I was told to ask the door man to direct me to the Russians who are usually located on 4th floor.  I got booted out of that place pretty quick.  Has anyone been to Rajah hotel recently and succeeded in Russian WG?

There are sometimes Eastern European girls outside the hotel along with Arab girls and chubby or fat Thai girls. All catering to the Arabs in the area. But Bangkok isn't really favoured by Russian working girls. Pattaya does have Russians so that would be better than Bangkok.

That said, the availability of Russian girls in Hong Kong is much better in quality and quantity than Thailand.

Airbnb isnt really legal in Thailand, so becareful with this option.
Everytimes i used Airbnb in Thailand i never met the host, no one asked me for copy of my passport nor registration form.
So no lease contract and no communication to the immigration office.

Lots of good quality 3 star for reasonable price and many dirt cheap 1 star for those on tight budget or too drunk to care.  

Food is dirt cheap and good.

It seems like Stickman has some recommendations.  In addition to Royal Garden hotel you mentioned, CM2 club beneath Siam square, outside McDonald on Soi6, and Shock 39.  It is said at CM2, you can find south american WGs.

Problem is that article is over ten years old.
Anyone been there lately to be able to verify Russians still work there?

Don't worry about making an arse of yourself at the hotel while trying to punt as I am sure we have all been there done that.

you can find few east asian (viet, laos, burma, cambo) girls around Pattaya, especially in beach road, or on social media.
Massage, clubs, bars, etc cant hire these east asian girls.

I was going through my notes and found some more info on Russians and Eastern Europeans in Bangkok.

- Shock 39 Nightclub. 5,000-7,000 THB for long time. The club staff will do everything to rip people off.
- On Sukhumvit near Soi 7 around the Subway and McDonald's. 5,000 THB for short time.
- There used to be Russian and EE freelancers in BarSu bar inside the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. No idea if this is the case anymore as this info is several years old and I've never seen any updates.

I've never seen Russian in Bangkok myself. Those are from my saved notes collected around various forums. I use MS OneNote to save any reports, contact info and notes to refer to for future trips. My OneNote archive for HKG goes back to 2011 and BKK to 2015.

I personally find the girls around Sukhumvit Soi 7 to be only uglies or ladyboys. Especially outside and inside the nearby McDonald's.

I'll be in BKK in two months but i think this time i'm going to do primarily agency outcalls.
