Recently I've started using Tinder and other apps (Yes, I know I'm late to the party here) and I noticed a few girls, way too pretty with just one - two pictures with their WeChat or Line ID on it.
I recently started speaking with one (from Taiwan apparently) and she said $1,200 for 3 hours. Unlimted cummage allowed. Too good to be true? Wait the story gets weirder. I asked to video call her because (honestly with those looks you could be charging $1000 at LEAST)

I'm a skeptical person, so I wanted proof. She sent me 3 other pictures of "herself" (Or maybe not) and I was still not convinced. I agreed to meet her and she gave me the directions to go meet her at City One, Shatin. wtf? She wasn't staying in a hotel or anything so I thought that was strange. Oh well, first time. I wanted to check it out.

I got there and asked her where she was. She immediately asked for my phone number so she could call me and when i was reluctant, she bombarded me with more messages and smiley faces asking me to give the phone number. I told her I was at a nearby location and she could just come down first, and then I will give her my number when she's there.  Why would she need it when i provided a public place to meet first? She was talking to me through Line and there is a call function, which i suggested, she said she couldn't use that function and I should give her my number. I decided not to proceed and blocked her as it felt abit off.

My question is: what is the protocol? are these actually scams? has anyone done it before?

I've had a similar thing, over different mediums. The supposedly good looking girl is very insistent on getting my phone number straight away, even when I've suggested more obvious ways, yet keeping my number private. Seemed dodgy so I never gave my number up...

Anyone done this? Scam?

said she would 'sacrifice' her body because her mom really needed an operation. Then she wanted my FB details. and Skype after I denied them.
Played along to see how far she went and how strange it got. She even sent me details straight up about where to send money.

I believe she was from philipines and was staying in Sha Tin

If anything out of the ordinary happens its a scam. best way to treat any online communication

It's good to hear that I'm not the only one who has taken a step back when things get abit strange.
It would be interesting if any brothers here went through with it. In-fact, if we do, it would be a good idea to sticky it as it seems shady as fuck.

I'm no pro, but my pessimistic mind think they want a proper cell number to pass to a friend and tail you or give to police in case of trouble. They don't know you and they could be equally scared.
Having said that, won't help one bit if you used a pre paid SIM card!

Specific to your case, definitely a case of too good to be true. Have a look at the last report I made (some role ago, tight budget and parents are visiting, taking up my time). Super hot girl on 141 DB. Afew WeChat pics, not as great but still doable. Got there after ALOT of twists n turns and basically five blocks down the road (!) finally got to see her and barely resembles the hot girl (if you were really drunk and squinted). Boobs were ok so I stayed, but was no where near an enjoyable time.
Don't fall for the scam... Or bait n switch.
