One liners

Would mods consider adjusting the minimum number of words accepted by the system for replies rather than having these endless Karma deductions and admonishments that the one-liners are irrelevant?
I have on some occasions clicked send before a reply is complete and there is an immediate message that it is too short (story of my life, actually!).....so the system is there. It only needs to be tweaked.

I actually find it ignorant when people post like this.  When I joined I took the trouble to read the forum guides and understand the community I was joining, and expect the same courtesy of others.
