Any bro have advice on the best places to go in Wanchai when solo? It's not like I can go for a bite with a few male friends at one of the local pubs, so picking up in places like that is not really an option unless I want to look like a dork sitting alone. When it comes to the nightclubs then that works okay but that's for later in the night. Also as soon as I walk in to some clubs I get swarmed by the fatter and more hardened pros. I'd like to sit back and relax a bit, scope it out, or even take in the shamelessly old school music. I can see guys who walk in together don't have quite the same problem.

Anyhow, have not been doing Wanchai much recently since I had a run of bad luck with chicks just only after lady drinks and asking for crazy ST or LT pricing, or hot chicks leading me on and then trying to pawn me off on their friends rather than going through with it. Normally I have better Spidey-senses but I don't know, either I've been off or the scene has been off a bit. Hoping to get back into the groove but will be solo and that is never quite as good. Maybe just do Thai eat in at JSLM instead of Filipina take out in Wanchai.

try the White Stag on Lockhart Rd. Civilian pub, meals OK, beer cold, sport on TV, lots of people to chat to at the bar, a short walk to "fun central" when you're ready.
