i am more or less a loyal follower of east spa due to the fact that the mainland girls are in the 7-10 range, sleeping area (with actual beds), free food, and showtime.  to all the veterens of macau.  is spa 18 worth considering?  the manager would not let me look at the spa or there girls without paying the sauna charge hence the reason why i am asking.  here is a simple break down between the two spas in my biased opinion

East Spa

Pros
- a variety of show times
- free food and free fresh veg/fruit juices
- chinese girls at peak is about 30 ranging from 7-10 (10 being perfect for asians)
- can customize the sex sessions slightly with toys and costumes (ask manager, i have seen handcuffs)
- rooms are big and the bed is great for what it needs to do
- can interact with the girls in the pool area
- showers are done by the models and not bored viet/fillipino asking for tip afterwards (i doc points for viet/fillipino BTW)
- can see the models before entering the sauna (this was new, during 2008 did not have this)
- free naked body to body soapy massage with the model with coupon, also good opportunity to check out the model's body for (hate push-ups) excessive tattoos, pregnancy scars, body acne, herpes signs, bad implants, hairy muffs, excessively meaty vag, bad breath, better look at the face (due to bright lighting in the room), etc
- have a rest room with bunk beds

Cons
- seating area for show time is only 24 seats, not enough especially during the weekends, always fighting for a seat against a HK punter
- show time only has 20 girls leaving 4 guys with blueballs at any one time
- free BJ during showtime is now a gamble
- service with the model can vary because they are chinese models (its true that viet/thai normally have better service)
- the massage technicians are unattractive and older
- food quality is sub-par and no buffet
- rooms do not have water/shower beds
- hotpools are small
- thigh massage are done by unattractive massage technician unlike the old sanado with there models
- 10% BS service fee sucks
- 5% BS hotel fee sucks
- female manager and one waiter is especially rude
- some of the models are too hairy and needs to be trained to learn to trim
- lack of model variety regarding races (which is fine for me since i am not interested)
- price is in higher end spectrum even though the facilities is quite old (your paying for the software)

18 sauna (during 2008 sorry this was my last experience there)

Pros
- rooms have wet/shower beds
- peak time, the models can be 100 or more
- superior variety regarding model races
- pool is bigger than eastspa
- facilities is quite bigger and more luxurious than east spa (than again i never cared about the hardware, i'm all about the software)

Cons
- rooms are small and claustrophobic
- no show time
- no free mini BJ opportunities
- no way to interact with the model
- no way to see the girl upclose and naked until you select her (first time i went there, her breath was horrid, much older than i thought, too much plastic surgery, tits were hard as a rock, smelly vag was brown and overused and loose (and i actually got a big didi))

unknowns (since i departed quickly, upset at my pick)
- have not seen the lounge
- have not eaten the food
- don't know if they have a rest area with beds

I think that if you had only ever tried one or two saunas, it would very much be worth trying another. And if you haven't tried 18 since 2008, it's probably worth another try. They are all similar, but they are all different.

18 and East will be similar price. 18 will have more girls (and punters), and the lounge massage girls will be more pushy. IMHO, the food is similar at both. Rio and Familia Nobre are more sedate, more appropriate for those less impressed by showtimes and gimmicks.

My 2 cents: 18 lots more girls (and diff types of girls), but the rooms are older. Worth going if you haven't been in 6 years though!

Similarly, I have been frequenting East Spa due to its high quality Chinese girls (looks-wise) and also because of its Queen's Bath which is not available elsewhere. I have been to 18 last year but I had a bad experience too, so I never went again. May go again if I feel like it. Just to see how they are going this year.
