#3 Post at 20-1-2010 00:24  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L I took the new ferries that are owned by the venetian Macau.  They were pretty good.  Newer than the jet foils, I think they are the same price, but not 100% sure.  They were called kota I believe.

#4 Post at 20-1-2010 00:41  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Reply #3 cn888's post You took the ferries called the Cotai Jet.  They only go from Shun Tak Terminal, Central to Macau.  There is no cotaijet service from TST.   Their official prices are the same as the Turbo Jet.  If you are adventurous and get to the Shun Tak Terminal during normal office working hours, go to one of those local travel agencies there to buy your ferry ticket.  Buying any ferry ticket at those travel agencies will be cheaper than the official prices, and the Cotaijet tickets will be even more cheaper than the Turbojet tickets. Last time I save almost $20 on a one-way ticket to Macau.  Next time I will buy a roundtrip ticket and save money on the return trip too.  By time I was leaving Macau, all the travel agencies in macau had closed so I had to pay the official rates to return.

It's under 1 hour ferry ride is the tides/currents are right; it took an hour and half last time because the waters were rough. So to confirm, Cotai Jet leaves from Central?
