I have a few meetings now over the next couple of days but I only have a few hours free. I am staying over in Dong Chen, so wondering if any one who knows this area has any advice for a newbie. Dongcheng Zhonglu Dongcheng District - 523000 DONGGUAN I have 3/4 hours free before work kicks in and I have to be civilised. I have looked online about getting a massage girl to my room, I called one number & when I mentioned I am not there yet, they just hung up Thanks 'Yes, Madam, I am drunk, but in the morning I shall be sober and you will still be ugly.'

#2 Post at 14-5-2013 19:49  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Dongcheng has a few places.  What hotel are you in?  There is bar street and also some KTVs that are worth visiting.  It's kind of an expensive area though because there are a ton of expats living there.

High end KTV and SN with models pricing. I've been there once in 2008 but i did not keep any contacts. I am checking with my friend. If yours does not, then just ask a taxi driver for a sauna. They should be all around you. If in doubt about the quality, ask the taxi driver the pricing for the sauna that he wants to bring you to. A decent quality place will be at least 400rmb for the girl (then another 2xx for the room fee)

#7 Post at 22-5-2013 21:01  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L if you are staying at the Ibis that is accross the street from Pullman Hotel then you can walk to Bar Street (or take a very short taxi ride).  Walk out to the street, next to the gas station, and accross the street will be a diagonal street going away from you.  Follow that street about 300m and angle to the right another 300m and you will be at bar street. If you want cheap, just accross the street from Ibis is a cheap uh... it's not even a spa...  There are two entrances.  One is on the main road with a big neon sign, and another is on the corner up one flight of stairs.  Use the entrance on the corner.  Ask for FS.  It is about 300RMB.  Not bad. Expensive would be New World hotel, or any of the 5 star hotels.  You can get takeout form the Athena KTV at Pullman, but it's way overpriced.
