Question on legalities in Canada

I'm not sure if anyone here will have the answer to my question but I might as well ask.

So it's been a while since I've had a chance to make a trip to Asia so I've been thinking about checking out a couple of places here in Toronto.  One of my concerns is this.  I've been told that getting caught at a "common bawdy-house" or "brothel" is a criminal crime so I decided to take a quick look on Google.  I'm not sure how up to date the information is online but it seems to show that outcalls are legal but incall brothels aren't is this true?  And would it be safe for me to go to one that is popular and well known if it really is illegal?
