Hi everyone,

I'm preparing for a week in any Asian country around mid-January... I've mongered in HK, and Thailand (loved Phucket!)... I've read great things on here about the Philippines but most of the reports focus on either AC, or Manila.. I've also found one report on Subic Bay:

Has anyone ventured off to the islands or other places with a beach?  If so, how was it?  I really want other things to do.. I think AC would be too boring for me when I'm not mongering at night..

Cebu is good. Some high end ktv and few decent bars. Good chance of civvie action inthe malls too

many adventurers go to sabang, on mindoro island,
you take a ferry from batangas, not too far from manilla,
peurto gallera is near by, and white beach, the snorkling
is supposed to be very good as is the diving, they have a
floating bar with girls as well,  have some gogos or discos,
and many bars...i know a guy that goes there for 2 months a year,
he loves it there, it is very cheap

Subic was a blast for me, but I had a local girl as my tour guide the entire 7 days I was there.  There is a lot of action there and the place is beautiful.  Find a fucking hottie and tell her you want to take her to Zambales for the day.  She will melt and provide you with plenty of gratitude.

Check out Willis concert bar and Pier One, but only if you already have a date.  These are not pick up places, but a nice place to take your gal and have fun before banging all night long.  

Plenty of other activities you can do during the day besides fucking with your gal.  Blue Rock had good food and Harley's was highly recommended by my friend, but I never actually made it there.  They are very close to each other.

I could honestly live in Subic, it was that beautiful.  Much cheaper than A/C or Manilia when it comes to land and transportation costs.

Thanks for the tips.. is this area safe for a solo traveler?  Which has more bars and which is better to relax in?  Sabang or Puerto Galera?

I see.. thanks.. I have about 7 days.. how much time do you think i should try to allocate to subic, manila.. I also want to visit other islands so Ill be on the go a lot unless I find a place I really want to stay at.

sabang is pretty laid back, walking and or riding a bike is a good mode of transport,
the girls are about 2-3k for lt but on weekends there are girls from manilla that
want to view the bar scrne as possible additions, and are usually up for it...
would say its quite safe
subic has many bars and hotels, as well as floating bars used to be 2, unless a
wayward typhoon has destroyed them again, the girls are fairly inexpensive for long time,
some bars have policies on how long the girl stays, must stay till 11 am for example,
a little more of a be aware of your surroundings than sabang, but it is always wise in
the phills to be cautious anywhere,

It depends on your taste bro. But I certainly do prefer Manila over any place in the Philippines with the exception of perhaps Boracay. Other locations tend to have lower qualities.

I usually get a WG after striking out with the locals..

They just had a typhone hit in the South and its circling back and supposed to hit up North this weekend. Might want to check and see if it effected any of the areas you are thinking about going to.

Me, not impressed with Manila.  That was my least desirable place that I visited.  Horrible traffic and crime.  Lots of girls, but I prefer other areas in the Philippines than Manila.

I had much more fun in Subic.  I walked around plenty of times by myself and was never the least bit fearful.  They have tons of cops there and most people just looked at me like "wow its a white man that is not fat, smelly and ugly, how strange"  LOL!

I have been to Boracay before (on a different trip) which has beautiful beaches, and some local working girls but did not get the sense it was an easy pick up place.  Yes the ladies are out at night along the sand path that connects all of the stations, but I did not see anyting that I would want to pick up.  Of course my girlfriend is way above average for a pinay so your tastes may vary.  

Hey if your into Lady boys, you will have no problems in Boracay.  Yuck way too many for me.

Sounds like Subic is more to my liking... just have fun with activities during the day and if I meet a local then great.  Mongering won't be a focus.

Ever travel to Sabang or Batanyan or any of the smaller more empty islands?

the girls are their from manilla and other places...if you see them on the beach, chat them up,
pic one...they are usually game, the girls from the bars will exchange numbers usually,...
