The interest in escorts comes from those of us who reason that it may be the best alternative.
I'm going to be in Hong Kong and China for almost two weeks. I speak no Chinese.
I am a bit reluctant to wade into this world of walk-up apartments. And it sounds like the hotel walk-in are only marginally better. Bait and switch and photoshopping. No english. I don't want to pay per shot; I want an hour or two.

I'd prefer to be someplace clean. My own hotel room seems like it would be much more enjoyable. Have my own minibar. My own clean towels.
I've thought about Wan chai, but I am picturing pushy waitresses driving up $500HK bar bills before I've even left the bar. I read stories of trying several bars before finding a desirable WG. It sounds like it's an 11PM and beyond timeframe, and is likely to be $1500-$2000HKD or more after you consider $150 cocktails ordered by the girls, etc.
So finding a escort would be great. A $1700 escort charge would be fine with me as long as I could trust that I'd be getting what I expected.
