Tired of playing Liar's Dice or Qing Yi Se every single time in KTV? Here are 2 more games to spice up your evening.
Dudo
A spanish or portuguese variant of Liar's dice. The 4 differences are
- Upon losing, one doesn't forfeit, instead one loses a dice and the round restarts. the game only ends one one player loses all their dice,
- Upon reaching 3 dice or below, ante starts from two, and on last dice ante starts from a single die
- Other than calling a player for lying, one can call "spot-on" ("Gang Hao") if one feels that the call is exactly right. If one is correct one gets back a die (up to the maximum of five).
- There is an obliging round ("Rang"), that is awarded to the first player to reach one die. In that round, ones don't count as jokers ("zhai"), and the number cannot be changed by the opponent. For example, if the caller calls 1-4, the opponent cannot call 1-6, he needs to raise 2-4 or call "spot on" or "liar". it only lasts one round.
Needless to say, games will be longer, so instead of sipping, the forfeit needs to be bottoms up
Greed
The game is played with 6 die. The objective of the game is to score as much points as possible by throwing the die. One scores points by making hands. All dice that scored must be set aside, and the player has the option to roll the other dice. The round ends when the player decides that his point score is good enough, or if his throw fails to make a single hand (in this case he scores 0)
