I just finished dinner seated one table away from an obvious WG/Punter situation in Vietnam, and it set me off on this little rant.  The dude was fat, old and dressed like yesterday's laundry pile, wearing flip flops, untrimmed toenails that Godzilla would envy, and a wrinkled shirt in a town where ironing costs like $0.10! .  Meanwhile, she was beautiful, young, demure and dressed subtly yet sexy; what I take as the sign of a semi-pro rather than the hard core prostitute (and I saw one of those when I was checking into my hotel two nights ago, and that WG was fiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnneeeeee!! , but I digress . . .)

My simple point is this: I suppose that, with the hard core working girl sluts, our dress and demeanor matter less, but for those semi-pros (you know, the college student working for extra bux, or the professional girl who's working to put her three worthless brothers through college) I think it discourages them to be seen with a slob, even though they really need the money. would it pain us all that much to throw on a sport coat and look like a million bucks (even if it's just a charade)?  

In Asia, it's perfectly O.K. for a beautiful, talented young woman to be seen on the arm of an older man because it's presumed he has money and power.  So make it enjoyable for the girl and at least act the part! Let's make it easy for these beauties to be seen with us (and even more importantly, talk their roommates into joining!! )

TheButler, I'm with you, Bro.  I think if you show a little bit of courtesy upfront, it helps with the chances of getting the GFE.  What about the BFE??  Girls are girls...they love when a man is a man.  That means taking pride in oneself.  Is it safe to say that those WGs who give the GFE are more prone to be giving that GFE because they are getting the BFE in return?  I think so.

At the same time, I can understand why one would want to go grundge...  As I get older, I feel more entitled to do what I want to, say what I want to say, and not care as much about what people think.  For Bros who don't care, that's fine...

...However, I think they could get more bang for the buck if they showed a little more effort.  In other words if you want $100 worth of a WG and you pay $100, then great...  But as for me, if I pay $100 for a WG, I want $120 worth of effort.  They way to get that is by showing a little bit of BFE to get that GFE in return (i.e. the premium)

As I've said before...I'm a value punter, so sometimes getting a premium means doing a little prep and due diligence before the game starts.

i am not disagreeing with your "little rant".  In my experience, I think most WG don't care what you wear.  I could be wrong.  The exception is maybe strip clubs where I notice they size you up with the clothes you wear tho.

Come up with a nice outfit, new haircut, freshly washed body, clean fingernails, decent men's perfume,
fresh mouth wash, a smile and you can pull here the stunners, coyotes, students and office girls.
Then it doesn´t matter how old are you.

If you are wearing, Bermuda shorts, Beer Chang Underwear T-Shirt and flip flops, then you can´t enter
here a lot of venues (RCA, Hollywood Ratchada, G-Clubs, etc.), they simply not let you in.

Oh yeah, totally agree with this. Some people may think "hey why bother, am paying for this" but dressing up properly helps to pick up the nice girls and they dont mind being seen chatting with you. I've seen hideous outfits when mongering. The worse being the one Butler describes, fat greasy sandal wearing dude with a Dirty shirt on... Look at it this way, you meet a stunning 10/10, who's going to fuck you, but she's foul-mouthed and smells a bit - would that change your motivation? Sure it would!  If she looks good enough and is going to get you off, you probably won't kick her out of bed, but you won't go all out either.  And you will be on guard throughout in case the verbal bad temper escalates into worse.  

When you dress up, wash, and smarten up, you're basically communicating non-verbally that you care about her reactions.  The self-confidence inherent in grooming and preening is an instinctual mating ritual, and if it's skipped out, the act of copulation isn't at all the same.  
For a start she will trust you more,
which means better service, more eagerness, and probably GFE
She will WANT you, as distinct from wanting your money, and will show it with sexy body-language and frisky attitude
And she is much more likely to relax, enjoy herself, and completely get into the fantasy

Bro, depends on,
- you are a very good looking man,
- have all your hair, no beard,
- slim and muscular,
- between 5,5 – 6,0 food tall,
- very neat appearance,
- a charming, amusing personality,
- speak Thai fluently,
- ability to spot out and pick the right girl (can read body language),
- have money (what is a freebie? You have to pay for the drinks and food anyway).
If you then in the right clubs I would guess 5% hit and 95% miss ratio.

But if you can´t fulfill the list above, then you chances are nearly zero.
Thai girls are very conservative and normally don´t sleeping with someone with whom they have just met for free.
It is not impossible, but that is rather then the exception.
I would not build my vacation plans on it.
You need time to meet the girl often, then your chances grow rapidly.
Better to take a hassle free WG and start with some culture studys.

Another thing, when i was very young, I work in retail sales where there was tipping involved.  One thing I learned was, the regular people....as in not dressed too well regular Joe.....they USUALLY are the better tippers and far nicer people.  This is one my better lessons I've learned in my days.

Just a bit of slice of life... some people just don't care about anything aside from the main objective in their mind. In this case, the objective is having sex and the guy already knew he met the minimum requirement by having money. certain parts of the body!). The truth is that WOMEN do more of this. Yes, but the women's visual skills are
different. Her eys have a wider view and so they don't need to move head/eyes and the happening is normally
not noticed. This has been studied at different parts of the world and is a fact. The women rate us diffrently
than we do. We are looking at different features.

for me, whenever i meet a WG outside of her working place,
i try to match her dressing.

for example, if she's in t-shirt and jeans,
i try not to wear my working attire, e.g shirt pants tie.

if she dresses like a young immature girl,
i would wear t-shirt, shorts, sneakers etc.

if she's a classy dresser,
then i try to dress smart too, smart casual attire, e.g shirt tucked in.

and i always make a point to tell her where we will be going.
be it a posh restaurant in HK, a street-side BBQ in CP, or a disco in Macau.

of course, sometimes it can be difficult to guess what she will be wearing.
if so, sometimes, after i meet her, i see what she's wearing, then i choose an appropriate place to go.

and most of the times, i encourage her to bring her friends along.
when it's not just 2 of us, it will not be so obvious that we are punter + WG.
and i get to meet her friends too... hehehe...

Including her friends is always a good strategy in my book.  Even if you've just met her at a bar, etc., buying all the girls a round gets you big brownie points.  Only once did I sense a minimal jealousy vibe from the girl.

It also is largely driven by cultural norms based on the country.  I have traveled very little in Asia, but Viet Nam is particularly keen on evaluating a man based upon his clothes and general appearance.  I was there 6 years ago and the nice traveling clothes I was wearing on the aircraft did more to impress the local ladies than any of my more casual threads.  This can be a hard thing in a country as hot and humid as Viet Nam, but the effect on the local mentality is very profound.  Next trip there I will bring a few dress shirts and ties hoping to score a few 9's or better WGs.

And it isn't just the ladies who are evaluating a man based on his clothes.  Everyone makes an immediate decision on one's position in life from the nice appearance versus an unkempt workers attire.

Just my few cents, but it does make a difference.

I found out from an ATF that yes the girls do actually look at the overall package.  The money may talk, but there is something to be said for looking sharp and CLEAN!!  She may still go with you, but many maybe hesitant to really provide GFE service with someone that is grungy, smelly and looks like a slob.  I have seen guys in Wanchai turned down for looking like this.  YMMV, but I take pride in knowing that when my shirt comes off the girl does not have to look the other way or close her eyes.  She has perfection right in front of her.
