I went for a "walk" in Shanghai Street last night, around midnight.

I arrived there, and surprise, there was no WG on the street, where usually you can see almost 10 all along the street. Also, I didn't see any potential PPS trying to catch my look. I walked along the street maybe 6 times, and the only girls standing there were 2 girls giving flyers for their massage place, so nothing illegal.

You always see a lot of weird people in Shanghai Street, but yesterday, it was weirdest than ever. An old woman (nice grand mother type) standing at the corner of the street waiting for I don't know what. 3 guys in a electronics repair truck waiting (it's over midnight). Until I saw a young man standing in an entrance building, watching outside, and speaking in his (cellphone ?) headset.

Maybe I am just paranoiac, but I reminds of the HK movies, where you see undercovers cops in the street : the guy selling newspapers, the couple kissing, the delivery guy, etc... Very ridiculous and obvious, and just good for HK movies.... I always thought. But that may explain why there were no WG that night.

Anybody to confirm ?

Had a similar experience like yours but on last Wed. Mongering around midnight but found no WG.  Went for a late night snack nearby and returned to Shanghai St around 1:30 am and found 3 WGs standing in one of the bldgs but none of them were of my apetite. Walked further a bit down toward Jordan Road direction but found no further WG at those usual spots.  LB was somehow started complaining and so ended up with a massage girl who was handing out flyers. Went up with her for a worst massage ever   but a sensational wank   with oil for $250- all in all.
