No Thais / Vietnam in Hotel reservation

Bros,

1) It seems that the only flavours available for Hotel girls are Chinese, Japanese and Korean with the odd Eastern European girl from time to time. Why is it that there are no Thai or Vietnam girls on the list ?? Just curious, I know they are in good numbers in Macau and the Wanchai bars but it seems a little surprising given the talent in those countries.

2) What is photunga (or something like that), is it like Jinglish ??

Maybe most local guys just don't wanna pay for Thais and Filipinas. Seems like gwelos like them much more.

1) putonghua is what I meant. I was not sure if it was a forum thing or actually a slang language of some kind.

Thanks...googled it and found heaps of info on it.

pu tong hua is Mandarin

but in the past it refers to common language spoken in HK, which is Cantonese;

People in China have problems in communicating with each other and hence the policy of having a common language (which is Mandarin) so that they can talk to each other

Thanks...I noticed that when I asked the WG's if they spoke Cantonese or Mandarin they had no idea what Mandarin was ! I have since googled a few sites and found that putonghua is indeed what we refer to as Mandarin. Yes, our new PM
is very proud of his mastery of Putonghua !
