A group of japanese? i'll have some in town tomorrow and I just want to have a plan B if when I take them to Lan Kwai Fong and they turn to me and say "wtf dude, we wanna shag!!!!".

There is my favorite but wild (Neptune / Traffic...) but I would prefer taking them to a calm place, ideally in Hk, not cross harbour. Am not sure that'll have to do this (i tend to avoid this with colleagues and clients, way too risky) but am pretty sure those guys are into it (may end up dropping them and they'll go to places indicated on Japanese websites!   am sure they have some underground kinky places we dont know of!)

sounds like your problem is you have a group of Bros you "think" want to punt... but you don't know for sure. You want to show them a "good time" but you don't want to jump to conclusions? you are concerned that LKF may be a little too much clubbing and not enough fucking... Am I on the right track?

I note you want to stay HK side but I would go to Hari's Bar at The Holiday Inn in TST for this task. Around 930pm.

Why?

you can sit in the lounge area, classy and relaxed. Drink, chat, watch TV. Over the course of the first hour you are there, WGs will start to arrive. They will walk straight past you and around to the Bar. You will quickly see if the Bros you are with want to "lets check out the band and move around to the Bar..." or stay put in the lounge. Then their intensions will be clear and you can either stay there and punt to go someplace else like back to Wan Chai. Just jump in a cab, that time of night it won't cost much.

If money is not an issue, maybe consider trying this place LINK. I have no experience here but it sounds good.

a bar/club is very hit and miss. And there's strategy, some skill, and then you gotta deal with if someone needs to get out of there quick and get a hourly hotel, etc, etc. Sounds very complicated. You don't want that for a group of visitors with only a limited time in HK.

why not a nice classy sauna? I dunno which are nice on HK island, but certainly must be some comparable to ones on the mongkok side. After all, the HK island side should generally have higher concentration of rich ppl.
Go look up the sauna reviews on this board, that should help you make a decision.

How about if they want something LKF like but a bit more try taking them to some were in wan chai early on and seeing how things turn out - similar to Tonytoros idea. Say joe banana quickly changes from normal bar to party bar or mes Mei with the open sides you can see the talent arrive ...

Tony, thats exactly what I need. Am not sure  they all are punters and dont want to look like a perv (which I am but need to protect apparances!!! ) .

So all, thanks a lot for your help am going to try Tony's suggestion, so if I see there is no real excitment from those guys when the girls come in, I can just relax have a drink and leave early.

or take them to a REAL night club ... if they're inportant clients and you can spend big bucks go to BBoss !  In the old days Japanese loved night clubs and if there was an important deal to be done then going to night clubs are a must !

Don't know if its open already or not, but I've been reading up on the The Tonno in the papers etc but if it is open, it'd probably be a great "transition" place for you to take them to.

It should have most of the variety of entertainment options for you to feel them out - and thus get an indication as to their druthers - and if the choices are not "hard core enough," just a short walk to Wanchai and .....!

Check it out for us if its open already or not please - I want to know! After all, it IS at the old location of the eponymous Tonnochy Nightclub of years gone by. LOL!

As an addendum IMHO/I THINK Wanchai is NOT going to be enjoyable for most Japanese - as they are GENERALLY (sorry to generalize!!) more shy and reticent in their public behaviour/will feel out of place amongst all the Westerners there. Perhaps you SHOULD have a back-up plan to bring them to places like BBoss as Twice suggested.

Ah that's the revamped Club Tonnochy, they've been under renovation for the last 6 months ! looks like they've managed to open in time for the coming holidays !

Well quite a dissapointment lads. We went to the tasmanian lounge, then the Tonic and they were really shy (bascally just drinking shots and barely looking at the civvies) so shy I decided to drop it as I didnt feel like gettng busted so, at midnight put them ina cab and (after hesitating for a massage!!) went back to the so. Quite a dissapointment I have to say. Had too high hopes, but the real downside is: how the heck will I punt in Japan!

I don't think all's lost.

I've had a few experiences with "entertaining" Japanese in Hong Kong before - and as I pointed out, they are generally quite shy and reticent in their public behaviour - ESPECIALLY when out of town.

But in their own home grounds - MAN... they're totally transformed and VERY HOSPITABLE and accommodating as to what YOU as their guests, want to do.

As an example, I had entertained some guys from Osaka - and prior to their arrival, they even e-mailed me to ask for the dress code at the Golf course in Hong Kong!!!  Really!! Dress code and if they need to prepare to be in blazers to go to the Club house for lunch (as they do in Japan).  

But then, when I was in Osaka, they were so "boisterous" that one of them ended up in the hospital with alcohol poisoning.  Seriously! And of course totally covered just about all that I desired by my just even innocently asking "What's a Soapland about?" or "Is it true that BBBJ-CIM is totally legal and normal in Japan?"

So....play your cards right when you're in Japan - and think about it - your SO is gonna be totally cool about you being  out and about in Japan with such nerds - right??!!  LOL!
