Are there any Independent WGs with no 'agent'/'mamasan'? If there are Independent WGs on 141, how can I know which of the listed girls are fully independent?

Are they in the minority? Do you know of a list, at least a partial list of independents?

If you are after Freelancers (the normal term for "independent Working Girls" you go to the wanchai bars. Hundreds of them falling over each other in the WanChai bars.  If you are after 141 DB girls why do you care if they are freelance or not??  Curious.

If it's the booking process you want to simplify and not have to deal with a pimp, then nearly all of the walk-ups in HK are "independent", whereas the hotel girls aren't.

If it's more about avoiding some of your money going to anyone else but the WG, then that's a bit trickier, since even walk-ups have someone they pay a fee to, e.g. their "landlord", their friendly local "neighbourhood watch" volunteers, the overcharging food delivery guy, etc...

I want the 141DB as they seem the best, but as CunningLinguist  said, I don't want it going to an 'agent'. If they are independents then at least someone isn't threatening them into their work.

You do realise that just because there are agents, does not mean that the girls are being threatened into doing this kind of job...

That is true, just saves the risk but I guess as well they need sometimes some muscle to protect themselves.

Its not so much the muscle to protect them. But more for all the admin work that goes along behind the scenes.

Unlike 141 walkups, most HG's are only in HK for 7 days at a time. But there is so much that needs to be done to setup, that an agent is absolutely useful otherwise they would be spending all the time trying to setup only to find their visa is up and its time to leave already.
Taking DB photos, setting up the ads, promoting the girls (albeit sometimes with fake reports), arranging hotels, setting up phone lines for punters to call and for the girls for communication, arranging a schedule for punters to minimise wait time/maximise flow. In HK, muscle is low down on the priority scale if at all.

Yes, the agents take a piece of the pie, and I admit that with HK HG's, I think that it is quite alot especially compared to Macau HG's. But the agents make it easier for them to work in HK as the infrastructure is setup for them already.
I am very close to some of the HG's I've seen in the past still and I am sure that they aren't threatened into this business. They just need quick money for whatever reason, and this way works.

Not just the setup but also the ongoing operation.  Just fielding calls, giving directions and such would take half the day.  Imagine if the WG had to do that herself in between appointments.  You would either never get ahold of her or she'd be answering the phone all the time during your session (come to think of it, I get that a lot in the U.S.!)

To the OP:  Bro - you've been watching too much CNN.  Dont believe that crap.  Just talk to the gals about it.  99.9% of WGs are doing it voluntarily to earn a bigger pay check.  And many, many voluntarily use agents.  Even a lot of freelancers in the bars have agents - because they couldn't afford the initial plane fare themselves, plus the agent acted as an immigration sponsor to get them a 2 or 3 month visa instead of a 14 day tourist one.

Of course, if a gal is ever caught by police of course she'll say she was "forced" into it.  She doesnt want to face her family with the truth.

So you see, the REAL way prostition works is very different than the way the media presents it.

Hell, the US is currently going wacko about it.  If a gal tells police she did it voluntarily she gets arrested, fined and/or sent to jail for a bit;  if she says she was trafficked (no proof needed, just say it) she gets "saved" - fed, given a bit of cash, and put up in a shelter for a while.

Y'know Wander, even the girls that get arrested in the U.S. rarely cop to the "trafficked" plea.  Almost all of that slavery talk over here is generated by people wanting to bolster the importance of their "cause."  Nothing like a little righteous indignation to make you feel like you're actually doing something with your life.

Kary the former Thai HG under James is planning a trip to hk to work independently. I think she notified all her regulars about it. Im pretty sure she's open to new clients too. She was asking for 600 opposed to her previous rate of 800. But then again I think before it was split 50/50 between her and the agent. Well we all know what happened to James' and his partners.  I wonder what happened to him? Sigh. I miss his weekly fresh batch of Thai girls.
