How do I know if a girl can speak a little english ?  Is it shown in her page somehow ?

For hotel girls, most of the non-Chinese girls speak some English on varying levels from just a few words to native. Like I said, I once held a conversation with a Korean on the Homeric Illiad! On the other hand, some of the other Koreans can barely muster a few words of English. The Thais generally speak okay English. The Russians vary depending on girl to girl. Haven't tried a Japanese girl yet.

Some of the Chinese (Mainland) girls can also speak English - there were a few famous ones that are fairly good enough to hold a decent conversation with ... but your 'percentage' of finding such a girl is much lower.

I guess most, if not all, of the 'local' (i.e. Hong Kong) girls can speak Englsih.

There is nothing on the page to suggest the girl can speak English. 'English' on a girl's page usually refers to the agent being able to speak English, although this does not mean the ones who do not have that listed do not speak English --  they can usually speak enough English to at least confirm an appointment.

thanks... being able to communicate in English is a big advantage if they are try to cater to overseas customers. Tourists like me would definitely pay a bit more if the girl can speak in English.

If English is very important to you, you have a better chance of looking for someone on Craigslist as CL is caters more to the expats and tourists.
