141/bars open on Chinese New Year?

Hi Guys I have some friends coming to hK on Chinese New Year.
I know it's not the best time to come, but any idea on what they can find during that period? Referring to 141/hotel appointment/wan chai bars.

I thing you'll be out of luck with the 141 and hotel girls - at least from CNY eve till 4-5 days after,
and even then there will be few choices.
Some bars will stay open and all bars in hotels will stay open.
Better to go to Macau ...

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, it's what I had expected for the 141/hotel girls. Doesn't Macau celebrate the Lunar New Year? Do you think I can take them to some sauna there during that weekend? Any suggestion abt which bar we may go to have some fun?

CNY is just really a bad time to get anything done in Asia. Asian's will work through Christmas and New Year and hurricans and floods but CNY? Man, it just grinds to a halt.

Bars, saunas etc they may be open but are they staffed? If they are mainly staffed by China girls, your pickings will be slim.

I would go to Thailand if I were you (well, actually I AM going!)

Much better off there than over here, they dont celebrate CNY - my flight was $2000 and the girls are $125!!  Somehow seems like a good idea to me..... I will recoup my flight money by about 11pm the night I arrive !!!
