In recent years due to hollywood, amazon girls have been known to be ultra tall super model types (blond hair, blue eyes, 6"2, 36DD, etc), but the natural term just means "big". Certain amazon societies also have the female as the dominant figure in society. Thus I believe the amazon term is used in this case because the motion seems like it is the woman that is pounding the men in missionary, as opposed to the men pounding the women in missionary.
