Bangkok girl-friendly hotels, or not?

Can you advise are these girl-friendly hotels?
I'm having a business trip and only have two choices, any recommendations?

Are these girl-friendly hotels?

Aetas Hotels & Residence. (49 Phloenchit Road, Soi. Ruamrudee Lumpini Pathumwan, Wireless / Ploenchit, Bangkok)
Vie Hotel. (117-39 Phaya Thai Road, Ratchathewi, Pratunam / Siam, Bangkok)

I checked ISG and found no information unfortunately.  I've never even heard of those two hotels.   Best thing to do is send the hotels emails and ask directly.  I don't know of any hotel in Bangkok which will refuse your guest entry so all they may do is charge you a joiner fee - this can range up to 2000 baht per girl per night.  If the hotel charges a joiner fee for guests, you may want to avoid bringing anyone back as this will show up on the receipt for your expense report.

As both hotels are near Nana plaza, my guess is that they will not charge a joiner fee, but you should still send them an email first and ask.  If they both charge, your other option is to use a ST room (which are cheap) or if you prefer LT, just rent another hotel room (a decent place can be pretty damn cheap in Bangkok).

Most of the hotels are girl friendly, except youth hostels.

To save any dramas I always book a double room (usually the same rate as a single). Some hotels will charge a joiner fee depending on what booking you have made...

As mentioned, always best to check with the hotel.

Ruamrudee, although geographically close to Nana, is a quiet upscale area where your hooker won't be made to feel particularly welcome. Almost all hotels in Thailand charge a "joiner fee"; the security and desk staff keep a cut of it (if not the whole amount), so they have a good incentive to enforce it. If you are a single male, it is pretty much assumed you're in Thailand for hookers, so no onewill be shocked, but you also shouldn't be shocked by the "joiner fee."

Of the millions of hotels in Bangkok, why those two in particular? Nothing wrong with them, but it just seems odd that you have your heart set on these two hotels -- neither of which is particularly remarkable, and they're not even in the same neighborhood.

I agree with everything you said except "almost all hotels in Thailand charge a joiner fee...

I've been in and out of Thailand for the past 15 years and the only place infamous for charging a joiner fee is Phuket (with a few exceptions)...

Almost all hotels in BKK won't charge you anything (with one or two exceptions where girls are not welcomed at all) but most will ask for a girls' ID card.

Vie hotel is ok, not sure about the Aetas place...

Btw, my favourite places close to Nana and Soi Cowboy are Sheraton, Landmark and Marriott hotels and I've never had any problem there, not even with two girls...

I just got back and stayed at 5star Le Meridien.

Its a starwoods hotel and right at the entrance to patpong.    I was nervous about bringing back the 2 girls I picked up for a 3P.

But one of them said she has been to this hotel many times and they are fine with it.

So if this fancy 5-star hotel with many bell boys and people opening the doors for us and such is ok bringing two hookers through the lobby at 11pm than i think most hotels are going to be ok with it.

Actually, when guys discuss "friendly", it means whether there's going to be a surcharge. Two places I can rec, there's no "guest fee". One is JW Marriott, Soi 2 (probably because of all those horny CIA, US Army, State Dept. guys who have rooms there ), the other is Davis Hotel on Soi 26, but it's on the Rama IV side of 26. Same as in former Davis Entertainment Group grand poohbah P. Chuwit (forget his last name but he's cult hero in BKK), you know, the aging stuffed lion who just got CIM icon? Yeah, that one.

I can't rec the JWM anymore, the staff has gotten too arrogant, the place is in somewhat of a decline due to lack of money spent on maintenance, but the Davis my local Thai friends give the thumbs up to. Davis isn't cheap either, but it's an embarrassment what JWM charges and what you get-questionable plumbing and AC at times.

But...default at most hotels is to charge for a guest. As the truly 5* places, Regent, Mandarin, etc...guests are strictly prohibited. But...girls are available, you just have to know who to ask.
