I am thinking of trying some hotel reservation. Will I be able to communicate with the mama? Not so worried about communicating with the girl. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

My conversation usually goes: I want Carol [or whatever name] He may ask your hotel or his? Say his. Which Hotel?  Wait for answer. OK - 3 o'clock [or whatever time you want] That's it. Call again when you arrive at the hotel. Next conversation: I'm here for Carol - which room? Either he'll give you a room number or ask you to wait. He'll call back in a few minutes with the room number OK - and off you go to paradise - you hope.
