Chinese characters for "welcome"?

Hi everyone

I'm sure there are a few people on this forum who'd like to know the answer to this question, but I haven't found it yet.

What does "Welcome" look like in Chinese?

I, like many other members here plan on visiting a 141 girl when I go to Hong Kong and it seems the advice on this forum is always to just go the address and knock on the door if the "Welcome" sign is showing, but that's no help to those of us that don't read Chinese.

Can someone please post a photo of what the sign would like?

Have a look at some of the pics showing the location in the ads. They sometimes have a pic of their door which has welcome signs in Chinese.

Please use babel fish and type in English world "Welcome", you can choose chinese traditional and submit the translation to get:

歡迎

or Chinese simplified to get:

欢迎

Often the signs say "Please ring bell" / "Please wait..."  Sorry I can't input Chinese characters for these phrases. Maybe some helpful bro here can help out, coz let's face it, when you're having a good time, it's quite annoying to have non-Chinese readers constantly pressing that buzzer (especially the ones with annoying tunes)!

You can try out http://www.worldlingo.com and use the free online translator tool.  Type what you want in English and have it translate to Traditional or Simplified Chinese.  My Chinese is very bad so I'm not so sure it translates correctly but I have used this in the past to figure out what "Please wait" looks like in Chinese.  Hope this helps.
