With a WG you go into the building and knock on a door to meet the girl.  If you like her, you go in, else you move on to the next one. With a HG you call the agent and he will send you to a hotel.  Once at the hotel you call again and he will send you to the room where you meet the girl. Usually HG are more expensive then WG. I hope that helps.  Please correct me if I am wrong.

Even within HK, if you are reading a report referring to girls picked up in bars (like in Wan Chai), Working Girl would be the best reference for those girls.
