I was just wondering if anyone has ever partaken of tantric massage either here in H.K or anywhere else.
I noticed one place advertising that seems quite legit but was just wondering if anyone had any firsthand knowledge of what's involved etc.

My understanding of Tantric Massage is that there is some form of sexual act at the end (quite what it is I suppose depends on how much you pay) but because of what they have done to you during the massage itself it is meant to heighten the experience. Looking at the pic's on the link that was posted you would def' want something to heighten the experience!!!

I've studied Tantra.  It can be a very intense experience, but there's really two answers to your question:

1. Is tantric massage just code for massage with extras?  And the answer to that is yes, sometimes, and other times it's just an opportunity to rip you off with less interaction and more new age mumbling.

2.  What's the difference with true Tantra and tantric massage versus the normal massage + HJ?  Tantra practice combines many elements of meditation, yoga, massage and erotic practices to create a truly transcendental experience that can blow your mind.  However it's not a one off service but rather a path of dedicated study and practice.  There certainly are sexual acts involved, it's just that that's not the only thing.  In not making orgasm the end goal, Tantra ends up giving you the most intense, extended orgasms you'll ever experience.  I mean the kind of physical experience that's so intense it's practically debilitating.

Don't expect to be able to run off for a quickie Tantra weekend at the hot springs and achieve enlightenment, likewse any WG advertising a tantric massage is likely just using the practice as a cover.  You might get a bit more of an emotional feel from the tantrika but it will still likely be just an expensive massage + HJ.

However if you've got the ability and resources to commit to a LT study of Tantra I would recommend it highly.  It is a very individual practice, so not just any teacher will be right for any student.  Try several Tantrikas until you find one you click with.  This is important since you'll be in this for an extended period and it's best that you're working with a woman who speaks your language, as opposed to someone who's going to eventually bore you to tears with too much new age lingo.

I've never had the opportunity to have a tantric massage yet and like many I was quite sceptical that only a massage, with no sex penetration, could take you on cloud nine or seventh heaven. But many well seasoned mongers, who've had experienced tantric, all vouch for mind blowing state that can result from a good and genuine tantric massage.
They all say that you don't need any real sex when you've had a good tantric experience.

So far, Belgium is the only place I've heard of having quite a fiew massage salons offering decent tantric massage.

Yes, a proper tantric massage is very enjoyable and enlightening, but its not for guys just seeking a quick rub and tug......and its expensive usually, as genuine tantric massage providers have had years of specialist training, and are in high demand. For men, being what they are, it can be a bit frustrating, as in some cases the aim is not to orgasm, but mastery of your body. For women experiencing frigidity or who have had bad sexual experiences, tantric massage can be remedial. For the bro who writes on another thread that his GF does not get wet during sex, i believe she would if she was massaged by a competent and well trained tantric masseur/masseuse.......in some ways i think the tantric massge is generally more suited to women, than it is to some men, but thats just my opinion.
Has anyone tried the services advertised in HK? There are some providers in Vancouver, but not really, in my experience, the real deal.

I've moved to HK from England last month and in England I was very partial to a proper tantric massage - which is generally a very sensual and erotic massage - body to body and mutual masturbation is usually involved.

But I tried this in my hotel a few nights back and it was terrible - one of the worst massages, HJs I've ever experienced.

Avoid this like the plague.

If you get someone who's using the term "Tantra" merely as bait; so that they can charge more it will definitely be a sub-par experience.  I've also had serious tantrikas with whom I just didn't click, and that was not a repeatable experience either.  

I find that the better practitioners are not advertising on your typical whore boards.  If you google for alternative advertising sites you'll have better luck I think.  In the U.S. there are sites like goddesstemple.com (they have a few international girls) , but in general the search for quality in this arena is more time and money intensive than the 141 alternative.

I tried it in Singapore once, think it was called Red Tantra (they have a website). Nice experience all in all, masseuse was a bit old (40 I reckon) but in decent shape, and orgasm was good but not quite the trance/debilitating thing I expected from the blurb. Would do it again though.

If I have any complaint about the true tantrikas (as opposed to WGs misusing the term) it's that it seems commonplace for them to use really old photos.  I guess this has happened to me about 1 in 4 times.  They're still good, intense practioners, but even an enlightened guy is going to suffer a little deflation if the girl that opens the door is 20 year older and 40lbs heavier.
