SZ to DG

hey bros

i am aware that there are several transportation options available to get from HK via SZ to DG. but specifically,
does anyone know:

1. Futian Port crossing from Lok Ma Chau MTR. After you have crossed the mainland immigration checkpoint
at the Futian station, are there buses/coaches that take you to DG?

2. Shenzhen Bay. Are there any coach companies that use this crossing instead of the Huanggang crossing from DG back to HK?
so far i have only seen MPV services that advertise using the Shenzhen Wan crossing but no coach services. Anyway, are the
MPV vehicles reliable and safe? I heard you have to hand your passport over to the driver before the journey commences and
he will hand it to the immigration authorities when crossing the checkpoints.

i usually use the MTR intercity through train from Hung Hom to DG and i am aware that there is the usual HK-DG (via Huanggang) coach
services available. however, Huanggang can be quite packed at certain peak period times so i was wondering whether the Futian and
Shenzhen Bay options are any better than the Huanggang method.

dd, this doesn't answer your questions...but if you want to go from hk to szn or dg, here are 2 options:

1. https://www.ctshk.com/english/bus/zhonglv.htm: bus from hk to many different cities in guang dong

2. go via lo wu instead.  the bus station outside the train station goes to pretty much most of the cities in guang dong...

where are you trying to get to exactly?

Generally speaking the HH to DG option is the best and fastest.  An alternative is as mentioned above, take the train from the Luohu station in SZ once you pass immigration to ChangPing, which takes 30 minutes and the trains are very frequent, like every 10 minutes or so.

I think there's also a ferry that goes from the Ching-Hong Kong ferry port to Humen Port in Dongguan once a day - that takes around 90 minutes total.

To answer your original question the EE bus that goes from the airport to DG cross the border at Shenzhen Bay nowadays.  Soon after crossing, there is a switchover to another bus/van.

thanks bros GB and JS for your input.

was basically trying to find out all the possible routes that i could take from HK to DG. alot of this depends on the
time that my flight arrives at HKIA. also, sometimes i have to be in HK for a day or two before heading out for DG.
trying to find something that is both time and cost effective depending on my arrival schedule so i thought i would
explore all the possible options.

i heard that the Shenzhen Bay crossing experiences very little traffic as compared to the Huanggang and Luo Hu checkpoints
so i thought it may prove to be a viable method to get to/from DG. just that i have no experience with taking a private MPV car and
hence, no idea what to expect. (thanks bro JS for pointing out that the EE buses use this checkpoint now).

as far as the sea-faring option goes, i know that i can get on ferry from HKIA to humen port. however, i did not know that i could
sail to humen from HK city itself. bro JS, is this operated by the same company that operates the HKIA-Humen route (i.e. chu kong
transportation)?

if you're coming straight from HKIA, then the formula is different - from a time efficiency standpoint, the fastest way I think is to take the ferry from HKIA to Humen, and then get a cab.  The SB crossing is less crowded than the others, but still pretty crowded during mornings and early evenings.  The main saving for the ferry is having to avoid the crowded car border crossings for immigration.
