A WG friend of mine said that she may go to Canada to work.  She asked for my advice on whether or not she should go, and if it was relatively safe.

I have no idea about the scene in Canada, as I've never been there. I only know one girl who went to England, and very quickly came back as she couldn't accept the punters' demands (such as bareback ML).

Does anyone know anything about the WG scene in Canada? Especially regarding safety. Her friend is encouraging her to go, but she has no idea what to expect

you can check out craigslist.org to see the competition / prices

from my experience in vancouver, they are very safe - everythign with dom on. also, few foreigners go because there are places that cater specifically to them.  however, i think it is difficult because there simply are not that many people in vancouver. that's just opinion tho

im from canada & it depends on the location where she is trying to move to.. i can tell you that different cities have different demand for their girls.  do you have more information?

if its a wg from hk going to canada, it will most likely be toronto or vancouver!

in toronto, you dont even need to cater any western guys, though you are in the west, cos theres a huge chinese market to live on!

as for the wg that went to england. which city did she go to?and did she work for an english or chinese agent???

From Vancouver myself.

It takes one good session from someone on Perb.ca to list a good report. Then the girl will most likely be busy all the time.

It's clean (everything with a hat) and safe, as long as you're not working alone, which I'm guessing wouldn't happen anyways.

I've heard of people getting held up, but as long as you have a contact that goes to a place with a papasan/brobrosan, I think it's OK.

She'll be fine in Vancouver, Alberta and Toronto.  I knew plenty of girls who came from China/HK/Taiwan who came to Canada.  It was not uncommon to hear them say how nice most Canadians are.  Granted she still be careful as any foreigner without a network should be, but Canada is far safer than most parts of the world.

If your friend is older, but still attractive and is hard working she can pull in the same donations ($140CDN=$800+HKD) as the young Hotel Reservation girls in HK.  Advertising on CL is free and easy and what Vanman said is correct.  A couple good reviews on Perb (not exactly my favorite review board, but I digress...) will have her phone ringing off the hook.

If she's young well you can pretty much guess the same will apply.  Just more income!

FYI if she's using an agent to get her into Canada make sure she's not dealing with people who will extort her.  If I were you I'd be more concerned about that then people in Canada.

The most probable areas your friend would want to go are the major cities like Vancouver and Toronto.

Perb.ca caters to the westcoast mongering scene.  There you'll find useful information and reviews and its true that with one good review the phone will be off the hook.  Alternatively CL does have a lot of information about the prices and range of service.

It also is probably true that your friend might want to look into as how she can come to Canada either through agent or on her own.  Just probably gotta be aware that she'll deal with the same issues she would have dealt at home.

there's a pretty good forum called, terb.ca I think.  Ask your friend to check it out.  A lot of discussions happen there.
