Hey Bro's, am heading off to Shenzhen on my next visit to HK.  Can anyone enlighten me to what action is there for the taking?  Is there anything like 141 there?  Any information would be greatly welcome.

If you are in the western part of Shenzhen your best bet is to head over to Shekou. Go to Seaworld (chinese "Hai Shang Shi Ji") for dinner as there are numerous western style resturants. Hang out at The Terrace (best after 10PM) for a few drinks and live band. A few working girls there, also some just looking for a boyfriend. One night stands are difficult, so don't waste your time as you usually need to take her out a few times before she gives it up. After 11PM walk toward the Nan Hai Hotel. There are roughly 20-30 little bars near the hotel, roughly 5-9 girls per bar. Quality of girls range from 4-8, young and old, sometimes you are lucky and score a 10. The bars are easy to identify as the girls are usually outside inviting you in for a drink. You have to buy the ladies a drink or two, ~RMB40 each. Pick the girl you like, offer her a drink, and take her to the back room for a little foreplay, kissing, touching, etc. They will go back to your hotel for the night (until 6-7AM), damage RMB 400-600. Remember to go later in the evening, if you go to early the girls are less willing to go with you as they earn a portion of the drink revenue. Another option from Seaworld is to walk about 1/2 mile in the opposite direction from the Nan Hai Hotel. You will find several barber shops locations filled with girls. Quality is about the same as the little bars mentioned before. They have rooms available, for the adventure seeker. Damage RMB 200 for one shot. Girls are usually available after 7PM.

Thanks for mentioning this.   I have been in Shekou for a little bit over a year now and speak a bit of chinese, so I am more comfortable out and about. If you are not familiar with this part of Shenzhen, may be best to avoid the barber shops.

Nan Hai Hotel ....is this the one near the ferry terminal remembered there was a hotel near to the ferry and on the right side of the street.....there are some pubs similar to what you describe and WGS......none that I fancy so I pass for the nite...that was few yrs back........my customer told me the price was RMB per shot...or maybe I heard it wrong.....

Yes, the ferry terminal is within walking distance from this place.
There are 3 sections of bars.
1. When you exit the hotel, turn right and you find 5-6 bars. I have never wandered over there as it is a bit dark and it does not feel safe.
2. When you exit the hotel walk straight on the street. You will find bars on both sides of the street. The girls will call out to you to "cum" to my bar. From my experience the girls on this street are usually lower quality, with a gem mixed in here and there.
3. When you exit the hotel walk straight (pass the bars mentioned in 2.), checking out the ladies to see if any fancy you, to the 1st main road you come across and turn right. Walk about 50 meters and turn right into the alley, then a quick left. There will be 10 bars or so back here. The girls will shout out to you and in some cases run to you, grab at your arm, and try to pull you into their bar. This is an experience all by itself.

Generally you will not find a hot 18 yo hotel quality girl here. Most of the girls are in their 20s with a few older than that. There are some past their prime and should move on to other things. I have a workmate that fancys these girls. He says the experience is better as they are greatful he selected them. I guess different strokes for different folks. What I normally do is wander about until I find one that peaks my interest and then go to her bar. There has been a few occasions that no one caught me eye and I went home with nothing. You can go into a bar and only buy drinks for yourself, check the sites and move along if not interested.

I have only taken girls back for the whole night. Usually each bar will have at least one girl that speaks english and can help arrange the details with the one you want. They asks questions to feel you out. If you are new to the game they may try to take advantage of it by asking for a higher price or to go for a short time. Just state that you want the girl for the night and stick to a lower price.

A few bars have barmaids that speak good English. Otherwise they will speak enough English to accomplish the deal. Chances are the girl you pick will speak a little. Just work everything out before you leave the bar.

From Hong Kong, the easiest way to this area is by ferry from either Hong Kong or Kowloon. Otherwise, it is at least a 45 minute taxi ride from HuangGang border. The hotel is to the left of the Shekou Ferry listed in the map. The Terrace is above the Starbucks.

Hey, I want to thank Irishdude for his excellent description of the Shekou bar scene!

I'm an HK newbie, still trying to get my bearings.  But I'm trying to explore a bit and see what's out there.  Anyway, I thought that I would post this to reassure those of you who might be a little nervous about venturing into China for fun...

I went to Shekou last Sunday for the first time to meet an online friend (who lives in Shekou) for ice skating and dinner.  I didn't want to constrain dinner -- and I thought I would check out the Shekou bar scene -- so I lined up a hotel room for the night.

I was a little concerned about negotiating Shekou with my complete lack of Chinese (I speak two words of Mandarin and no Cantonese).  The reality is that lots of expats live in Shekou.  It's easier to get by there with only English than it is in Cheung Sha Wan or Sham Shui Po, that's for sure...

It was a beautiful warm night, so my friend and I went to Seaworld (see post #5) for dinner.  We ate Japanese and sat outside...  Very nice.  I noticed the Terrace atop the Starbucks, but didn't go up for a drink.  

We then wandered back to my hotel (an easy 5-10 minute walk).  The Nan Hai hotel is right next to the ferry terminal.  It was rather expensive (US$94) the night I was there, so I stayed down the street at the Hai Tao (US$47).  The Hai Tao is right in the middle of bar area #2.  Except for a little bit of WG street noise, it was a perfectly nice hotel for entertaining.  I always like the glass between the bed and the shower so you can watch anyone taking a shower...  I assume this place is WG-friendly, since they stock condoms in the bathroom for your use...

After my friend went home, I went for a walk to explore the area and the bar scene.  I had a little trouble following IrishDude's map, but once I found the Nan Tai, all of his directions made perfect sense.  BTW, if you're walking away from the Nan Tai, you can also access bar area #3 by taking a right down an alley just past the Hai Tao hotel.

The bars were really dead...  I mean totally!  I did not see another single customer in bar areas #2 and #3.  Early in my walk, a couple of ladies flagged me into the "Cheers" bar across the street from the Hai Tao.  I said I would return after my recon mission.  On my walk, i probably saw 20-30 girls outside the various bars, but no "must haves.".  I returned to Cheers and had a nice chat with the two ladies.  Drinks were 40 RMB apiece.  I bought both ladies a drink, and then we had a second round, even though I only had 215 RMB with me...  no one seemed to mind...

The two ladies were probably late 20s, early 30s...  cute faces, but heftier builds than I like.  Nonetheless, I got into a nice make-out and feel-up session with one right in the empty bar.  I offered to take her back to my room.  She declined for reasons I don't understand...  She said she didn't want her friend to be jealous, and that she had to stay until 2 am to work the bar for tips.  I pointed out the obvious fact that there were no customers, so the tips were not likely to amount to much.  I asked her about her fee, and she just seemed to brush off the question.  I would have just assumed that she had no interest in me whatsoever, except for the fact that we then spent 20-30 minutes DFK'ing and groping each other...  Very curious...  I had to get up early to catch the first boat back to HK, so not having overnight company was actually quite fine with me (that's the beauty of living here...  the luxury of saying "no" is very easy)...

Anyway, I highly recommend the Shekou bar scene for anyone who wants a change of pace and would like to stick his toe into the China sex scene.  It's a very gentle introduction...
