I'm not a great fan of this karma and reading access system. It's frustrating for newcomers and casual vistors to this site to find that the choicest and juciest morsels of info hidden away in reading access rights. I assume the site admin wanted to promote participation but in the end it's just going to put off the newcomers and casual visitors and make this site less interesting for them.

I say, make the forums open and with it comes more traffic and naturally more participation. As it is now, the site seems to be dominated by just the regulars with abundant karma points.

If the mod wants to move or delete this post, feel free to do so as I know it's off topic. Just wanted to rant a bit.

gundam, you're already RA 20 and close to 30 so you must be able to move around the forum reasonably well, and getting to RA20 is dead easy. There is a sense of community with the forum which means sharing by posting useful responses is just plain good manners. I have friends in the forum I previously knew, and new ones made through the forum.

This is my personal opinion but some of the girls I have been with have turned out to be sweeties I have established more long term sexual relationships with. If I post a girl's photo I want to be reasonably certain that not just anybody can view it, not Trolls, and not people who stumble on this site she may not want to have view them either, like her friends or relatives.

There have been posters (Trolls) who have made themselves a nuisance, some have even shown signs of mental deficiency. For me if I want to put an RA level on something I post then I view that as my RIGHT, otherwise if it was totally open some of these "juiciest morsels" you yearn for may never get posted at all, so who is that going to inconvenience?

Okay guys. I get your point. My feeling is when I get to a post which I can't read due to insufficient RA I get put off, granted it doesn't happen that often.  I feel there is a tinge of a segregation process going on. Of course this may not be the case but I can't help feel what I feel. So I leave the site and "troll" someplace else.

The point is not everybody feels comfortable putting down their experiences in graphic written detail. For these people they will never rise up in rankings and can only troll on this site and trolls they'll always be. They will not feel they belong and might not even bother to post in any of the forum sections. From the responses I've gotten here I feel these people are not welcome. As the Chinese say: "Each house has its own house rules" and I'm absoultely comfortable with that. I didn't mean to criticize but merely put forward an opinion.

On the other hand, from the replies of the bros, I see the system indeed has its merits by fostering a close knit community among like minded brothers. This is commendable.

As I've said, I was only expressing an opinion and I hope the bros will just take it as that. No offence intended.

No one is calling you, or any casual visitors to the forum a "Troll", quite the opposite. I personally have no problem with casual visitors, I was one myself for two years before registering. The forum encourages people to contribute positively, and it looks to me like you are already doing that.  Twice asked for your opinion and I can see he welcomed it.

Let's be clear on the definition of Troll.  I have quoted Wikipedia below, but to add my two cents;  Trolls are actually quite rare creatures who try to disrupt a forum by posting repetitive, negative replies that are usually of no substance, and flame members, or promote flaming (and not just of new members either). What motivates a Troll is a mystery to me but some I have seen appear to be sociopaths and display quite a bit of venom and prejudice. That is why Trolls are most unwelcome.
