Here is an interesting story for all of you.

So about two years ago, my Japanese wife went astrange and went off to do her own thing. Leaving me in the dump and sort of leaving me in a depressive state.

I ended up going to these Japanese KTVs with plenty of Filipina ladies and at first it was all just for fun, (nothing sexual happens in these Japanese Karaoke Bars) but I kind of grew fond of one of the girls. Her name is Hana. Hana is a pretty girl. Not the brightest but very pretty and great body. She found out that I wasn't doing so well and I wasn't really eating well and decided to come over to mine one weekend and cook me a home cooked meal. Something that I haven't had in a very long long time. I would go over to her club and she would simply pour me drinks, have some conversation and sing some songs together.

We have a great connection and we enjoy each other. Obviously there was some sexual stuff involved but this was more than that. Not once did she ask for money. Sometimes she does the groceries for the meals that she cooks using her own cash, I pay her back of course although most of the time she tells me not to pay her back.

So the point is, she's sweet, gf material, maybe I'm not too happy with her work, I believe there is no sex involved but I do know some of the other girls do offer additional services.

Have any of you had any similar experiences? I am pretty sure she isn't using me but at the same time, I am not sure if we've been made official. Are there risks or issues that could come from this?

Just a word of warning, some girls play the long game, want nothing up front but expect a big payday down the track. Not saying she is playing this game but dont be totally blind to the possibility.

I never approve nor disapprove when it comes to matters of the heart as you never know where/when someone special might come along. That being said, there are some things that you should be thinking about that I think I've remained consistent about on here over the years when these topics comes up.

1. What are your expectations with this relationship?
2. Everyone needs to make money. I wouldn't begrudge anyone for choosing any line of work. That being said, there's also WHY they are doing it. There's a difference between this being something she does to put food on her plate, or because it's the quickest/easiest way to make some fast cash.
3. You mentioned that you're not thrilled about her line of work. If she were to become your GF, would you be ok with it if she quit? Would you be ok with it if you brought her out and it turned out a colleague/boss/friend/neighbour had spent some time with her at some point?
4. How long has your acquaintance with her been? Why ask this question now?

It's nice to have someone there when times are tough. I get it. Bonus that she's easy on the eyes, cooks for you, and is fun in bed too. And if that's all you're looking for, then there's no reason to ask this line of question. Just enjoy it and don't complicate it by thinking about too much else. And if she starts pushing you towards something more and this is all you want, dude, it's your life and it's your future. Don't let nice get in the way of something potentially great.
If you're looking for something more long term and serious, that's ok too, but make sure you know what you're getting yourself into. And just because she ends up being your gf, it still doesn't mean you have to give up the farm for her. GF doesn't equal wife. Be together. Enjoy each other's company. Really find out about her, meet her friends, family, blah blah blah. Her becoming your gf doesn't mean you have to take over her life's finances, but you can also talk to her about being uncomfortable with her job and see if there are other options available to her.

Either way, no need to rush things. Take it at your own pace.

Okay to have an open mind but at the same time don't be stupid and thread lightly.

Keep seeing her and doing your thing if that's what makes you happy but stay paranoid and never put yourself at any real disadvantage if it ever comes to that.

Only you can make the decision on how much her occupation bothers you and if you can really trust her. It's good to give others and yourself a chance to be happy and be optimistic. But be prepared for the worse at the same time and make sure your ass is covered financially, emotionally, etc.

Like obviously we don't want to assume the worse in people and the situation but it's easy to let the heart lead us to unfortunr events.

Be adventurous but calculated.

I think this forum is for discussions on paid sexual services. You repeatedly stated that there is no sex involved in the "Japanese KTV" (In Japan?) and "not once did she ask for money". So, why is this thread even allowed here?

I get your point Obe though I think that the train of thought is that she works in a KTV so probably has dabbled a bit in the past and she may be on the "Long Game" play as mentioned by others so the bro is asking for advice............

So, this girl is a non-working girl (no exchange of money) who sometimes fed the OP. You are right that she might be taking a break from her long career of prostitution, but there is no way we can know. It is not fair to assume anything. And although this section is a non-reporting part of the forum, the rules do indicate that they apply for the entire forum.

Here is my issue. The above statement is only an assumption. Right or wrong it's only an assumption.
