Philippines4men.blogspot.comI found this Guide from an old blog when I was starting out exploring the adult scene in Manila. I'm not sure if someone had posted it here already (if yes, I'll gladly delete this post.
What is a KTV?
A KTV stands for Karaoke TV. Itbasically means an area where one can sing using minus-one tunes(minus-one means minus vocals) played through a karaoke machine.
What can I find inside a KTV?
Normallya stage, several tables where you can sit to watch a show, and severalprivate rooms where you can watch the show in private.
What is a GRO?
GROstands for Guest Relationship Officer. She functions as your escort andpartner for the night. Her objective is to make you feel at home insidethe KTV and to make you enjoy the night.
What is a GRM?
GRMstands for Guest Relationship Manager. She functions as the GRO'shandler. If you are familiar with corporate organizations, the GRM isbasically the GRO's supervisor. Another term for the GRM is "mama-san."
Can I choose my GRO?
Yes. You can view all the available GROs through a one-way mirror typically called "the aquarium."
Are there different types and prices for GROs?
SomeKTVs only have one type of GRO but others may have 2 or 3 tiers.Pegasus, for example, has three---GRO, Model, and Centerfold.Centerfolds tend to be the prettiest and the sexiest and thus cancommand a higher price.
Can I choose my GRO before I commit to a room? If I don't see a GRO that I like, can I leave?
Yes.In fact, it is recommended that you choose the GRO before you book aroom. If you don't see a GRO that is your type, simply say "sorry" andleave.
Can I see the GRO up close before I decide?
Yes.The GRM will call the girl out and introduce you to her. This way youcan see her height, her build, her posture and you can hear how shetalks.
Do they serve food and drinks in a KTV?
Yes. But the food tends to be pricey. I normally eat dinner somewhere else.
How is the pricing structure?
Youpay for the food and drinks. You also pay for every hour the GRO spendswith you. If you book a room, the room also has a charge. However, someKTVs allow food and drinks and GRO time to be charged against the room.Again check with the GRM and make sure you understand the pricestructure.
How much will I typically spend in a KTV?
DifferentKTVs have different pricing schemes. And normally it is the cost of theGRO that drives your bill. The more expensive KTV (Pegasus, for one)charges P1500/hour for the Centerfold line. Genie charges P1000/hour.Less if you come in between 6 pm to 9 pm.
My experience, all in,including "extra service"---I have spent as low as P3000 (only becauseI am a regular and I know the GRO already) to as high as P15,000 inPegasus with a Centerfold.
What services comes with the KTV and the GRO? Any "packages?"
Thereare tiered packages in KTVs, and it varies from place to place, but themost common tiering model is on their amount of clothing, especially interms of underwear. In other words, if you are in a tight budget, theGRO will simply come in her usual cocktail dress. If you are willing tospend to the max, then the GRO will come with some loose clothing, typically a toga or nightgown, with no underwear underneath.
Mostwill allow mouth-to-mouth kissing and some fondling of the breasts.Fondling of the genitals is normally not allowed unless you go for the"extra service."
Most also come with free "body shots"---this iswhen the GRO takes a drink (normally tequila), rubs the lemon on yournipples, takes a swig of the tequila and then licks the lemon juice offthe nipples. Kinky!
Can I have "extra service" with the GRO?
Depends. While most GROs are willing to provide that extra service, there are some also who will not.
How can I tell if a GRO will provide "extra service?"
Ask the GRM. The typical question is "Is she game?" These are the typical answers to this question:
Game na game! Translation: Definitely!
Minsan. Depende sa kanya. Translation: Sometimes. Depends on her. (Which means you have to try and charm the GRO)
Hindi. Translation: No. Probably because she is already well taken care of by some VIP.
What kind of services come with the "extra service?"
Youhave to understand that in some cases the "extra service" is on thediscretion of the GRO. Some do not perform fellatio. If they do,"bareback" (i.e., no condom) BJs are uncommon though some are willing.Bareback coming-in-mouth is similarly uncommon. Coming-in-mouth withcondom is more likely. Rimming and anal intercourse are VERY rare ifever.
Is there some minimum requirement to get "extraservice?" For example, must I have spent a certain amount of money orstayed for a certain amount of time before I can avail of the "extraservice?"
For a number of KTVs, the answer is yes. At minimum you should have booked at least 2 hours.
But I am in a hurry! I can't stay for 2 hours!
Thenpay for the 2 hours up front and leave when the deed is done. No needto order food or drinks. This is typical and you can mention this tothe GRM.
Do I do the "extra" in the room?
Yes. If you want the "extra" somewhere else, you will need to pay the bar fine.
How about multiple pops?
Again some are willing and some are not.
Should I bring a condom?
Yes. Just in case the GRO has none available.
Anything else I should bring?
I recommend towelettes, hand sanitizer, and breath fresheners.
I have friends and colleagues with me in the room. How do I get the "extra service?"
In some KTVs, you have to book another room. In some KTVs (like Genie), they provide a "tent" where you can do it in private.
How much should I "tip" a GRO?
If no "extra service" is provided, a nominal tip is ok. I normally give P500.
Normallythe cost of the "extra service" is negotiated before the actual deed.Either with the GRM or the GRO. If in doubt, consult the GRM. In thehigh-end KTVs, the GRO asks for something like P3000 - P4000.
Is there a good time to go to a KTV?
Ifyou are on a tight budget, then best to go during "happy hour,"typically between 6 pm to 9 pm. Some KTVs offer 50% discount. Butduring those hours, there are only a few GROs.
For the best number of choices, go between 8 pm to 10 pm.
Ifyou plan to get lucky and have some fun with the GRO outside of theKTV, then go after midnight. Chances are she will need a ride home oris willing to drink and party outside.
Can I take a GRO out?
Ifyou want to take her out during KTV hours (i.e., typically between 6 pmto 2 am), then you have to pay a "bar fine" which is computed by thegirl's hourly rate multiplied by the number of hours she will be away. There is no hard and fast rule and some GROs are unwilling to go out soit is best again to check with the GRM.
I liked the last GRO. Can I reserve? How do I do it?
Thebest way is to get the contact number of the GRM. Then you can SMS heror call her to reserve the GRO. Please note, however, that you willtechnically pay for the GRO from her "time-in." So if the GRO's time-inis 6 pm and you arrive at 8 pm, you will pay for 2 hours.
Can I ask for the GRO's mobile number?
Yes. Very rare that a GRO will refuse to give her number.
Can I ask for a date with the GRO? For example, before she goes to work or during her day off?
Ofcourse you can ask, but whether or not she agrees is another thing.Bear in mind that, for the GRO, her time in the KTV is work, and heroff-hours are her personal time. It is her discretion whether or notshe spends her personal time with you.
