#1 Post at 29-12-2014 01:23  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L [Taiwan] What's up on the road to Nantou? Rode a scooter from Taichung to Nantou today to visit a friend. As I rode through the area south of TC and north of Nantou City I noticed a lot of places I could not exactly figure out. There were some KTVs and some obvious massage parlors (one of which looked like it could possibly have potential), there were several businesses with pictures of scantily clad girls on them and no clear indication that I could see of what they are. Does anyone know? I also saw several barber poles on businesses that appeared to have scantily clad women inside (as well as on pictures out front). Again, any ideas? Looking for some information before I go back. First post here, terribly sorry if this should have been in Q & A. These were places you would go into, as opposed to places to park and wait for them to come to you. No visible fridges, Betel nut girls, and no characteristic flashing lights. I should have taken some pictures. If I go back I will try to.

I'm attaching a picture of a sign for an adjacent establishment. My Chinese is limited when speaking, and far more limited when reading.
