I apologize in advance for the simple lack of knowledge of this member.  Could someone outline for me the process of using WECHAT to find a provider ?  I obviously haven't used it ever, but would be interested to learn.  This is in anticipation of using it in some future visit to Asia.

Find the "People Nearby" function, which will bring up profiles of WeChat users near you (you can set it to bring up only female profiles).  Scan the profiles...  Send "Friend" requests to everyone who looks interesting to you.  Maybe 20 percent will respond.  You can then chat with them...

Figuring out who is a WG and who is not is not always easy...  But then, that's part of the fun!

Most of the times on the nearby function I got approached by the WG. Just find a "hotspot" where a lot of WG are around and you will get lots of requests. Ask for real photos first. But it isn't guaranteed the girl looks as good. It's hit and miss most of the time.

Plenty of those that contact you will be touts.

You can also try the shake function, which in my neighborhood after 9pm often yields tout services with a number to call written over the top of a sexy lady photo.

Thank you for the 411.  A new iP6 will soon be on order, so the info is of value.  

The Wikipedia entry on WeChat mentions that some users have security concerns about the WeChat application.  I suppose we shall see.

Is there a reason the bros do not include the WeChat IDs when they write their reports on this site ?  It seems every report I read where WeChat was used, the immediate question from many bros is 'please send the WeChat ID'.

privacy issues... many if not all my wg who have shared their wechat id's are not full time wg
many that i've found are by chance and have advised NOT to share their id's and pics...

you can also ask some brothers in here for their WG wechat ids.

Personal bro I have used WeChat a couple of times and it's been a rip off. I am based in Shenzhen and never had a good punt from this or from CL. It might be different in HK but in SZ it's companies and a total waste of time.

I usually find a massage girl and get her WeChat ID.

@ cookiemonsta - - very interesting.  Here in SoCal, you cannot make an appt. to see a WG without an unblocked cell phone #.  At least, every booker and independent WG I can remember always requires a valid cell number to contact you for timing, possibly directions, access codes, and etc.  So it pretty much is required that you provide your personal cell number to get anywhere.  Or maybe some bros have a separate dedicated cell just for hobbying.

Here its all companies, they show you a picture of the "girl" they will send to you. It is never the girl, I have told them 2/3 times that if it isn't the girl I won't have the service. The last time I gave the girl the benefit of the doubt and see what happen, never offered a massage, no small talk.. She just threw everything on the bed and was basically "come on then!" I gave her 100 and threw her out. I called the company and they didn't answer...

I have used WeChat with success in Bangkok and Hanoi.  To my knowledge, I have never encountered "agents" in either location.  The difficult part in BKK is screening out the ladyboys.  In Hanoi, there are many students and karaoke/massage girls looking for a little money on the side.  I have not tried in HK, since there are other, easier options.

the pros and the agents are very straightforward - usually they already contact you already, and the first message will be do you want a lady service ... often including a price list ...
Another way to check is to go looking for photos.  Real girls have a range of hobbies on their timeline, and very few pictures of themselves.  The pros have very little except a few partially clothed pictures of a girl (who is very unlikely to be her, just have to accept that as a fact).  

Girls get hit on all the time.  So if a girl contacts you (unless you're really hot, wealthy, famous or all three) she's probably looking for something more than a conversation.  And if you're hot famous and wealthy she's definitely looking for more than a conversation!  

If you initiated it's harder, lots of good girls there, very hard to transition to money talk.  I expect some of the more seasoned bros have that level of game, to me it seems too much like hard work.  

It's actually simpler not to approach ... just activate the "nearby" scanner from time to time ... that keeps you logged in and showing up on the girls' scanners ... the pros know they have to solicit.
