For quite a while now, I've mostly trodden familiar paths for my infrequent WG trysts. On a whim I wandered down Reclaimation Street to a place I used to go to. The price hadn't changed and, although I didn't recognise her at first glance, it turned out I was familiar with the girl that I selected.

Anyway, that got me reflecting and so I'm wondering if any bros have any thoughts on how the scene has changed over the last 5 years.

I've noticed that the prices for Hotel Girls seems to have shifted up a bit and I guess this has had a knock on effect on other WGs in the busy areas. Although I've toyed with the idea, I've never actually used the services of a Hotel Girl and the places I've been going to (lower ends of the market) generally haven't changed much. I guess it is inflation based on demand. I also suspect that the best talent is being sucked into the pool of Hotel Girls, as I get the sense that the quality of the talent that I've been seeing has been slowly getting worse.

As a side question, what do you think of the sister Singapore site? I would have thought the market would be priced similarly to HK but it seems that there is greater value for money over there, e.g. 115 SGD (720 HKD) /2shots /90mins (include room & condoms) (http://sg.nightlife141.com/en/10 ... -Love-Desire-Rita).

I haven't been around the scene nearly as long as you have but I'll just echo the above comment as being almost exactly how I interpret the HKG working girl market in its current state. The best talent flowing to HG's, and my feeling on 141's in general is that it's harder to find young girls there, with old (35+) or older generally being the higher percentage.

I have no idea what it was like before, that's just my newbie take on today.

What always struck me as odd though--is the pricing. Many 141 girls are advertising 600-700.... that's awful close to 800-900 HG prices.

If we look back at the average price of hotel girls 3 years ago you will find the average price was $700 - $800, now days they are $800 - $900 ... about a 15% increase

over the same 3 years, average price of walk ups have gone from $350 - $380 to $400 ... 10% increase

over the same period of time the average salary of a blue collar worker have gone up 25% - 30%, white collar maybe increased by same amount

bearing in mind there are few girls with HKIDs wanting to become WGs and as existing WGs gets older, walk up prices have remained relatively stable

you may see a change in the HG scene over the next few years but their prices have so far remained pretty much stable

for the Singapore scene, I think one of the things you need to look at is where the HGs are from

And now we have plenty of Post Ops and LB in HK....

One more thing to add is the face that the RMB/HKD exchange rate gone way down and the HG's are actually getting less then they did 3 years a go.

Yeah this is a good point. They are more affluent now too so the money is an even less motivating.
