A question to the more experienced/knowledgable bros out there: How many customers would a typical HG have per day? I know there are a ton of factors such as day of week/time of year, quality of PPS/hotel, quality of pics/vids etc but if you had to average everything out and come up with one number, what would your answer be? If I had to guess I'd say the minimal for it to be worth while for both the girl to come here and for the PPS to be profitable is at least 3-5 customers per HG per day.

The reason I'm asking is that several days ago I visited a HG and since then we've been chatting on and off on wechat. It's her first "business trip" to HKG (according to her) and the session I had with her didn't have the "feel" of an experienced pro. Our conversations are what you'd expect if you just met a new friend and start chatting with the via IM/online, getting to know you small talk, hobbies, pets etc.  and she hasn't given me that feeling that she's just trying to get another fee from another john.

And yet. Every time I ask her how her day was, she'll say how she's bored most of the time and how she hasn't been getting any business.. at all. It's her 4th day here now and she still maintains that I've been her only customer so far. She hasn't directly asked me to go back and see her but I can't help but feel there's some sort of guilt tripping happening here - how can it be possible that she hasn't had another customer in four whole days?

I did tip her more than I normally do since she told me I was her first customer on her first day of the trip. Maybe she just thinks I'm a sucker with too much mongering money. Maybe I am.

Some random facts I've learned while chatting with her:
- The HG/PPS split is 50/50 for the list price, excluding tips which they keep all of. All of the money excl tips is handed over and she is paid at the end of the trip.
- The girls would usually share and congregate 2-3 per room so it's rare for them to have a room to themselves, unless of course their mates are busy.
- They aren't allowed to be out of the hotel during their work hours, unless they've been booked for an overnight session.
- They usually order cheapo takeaway and have it delivered to their rooms for lunch/dinner
- They don't usually meet the PPS, at least she hasn't as yet. All arrangements done via phone.
- Sometimes they'll have to switch hotels halfway through their stay if not enough rooms can be booked
- They come in on a 7day visa which can be renewed once. So some HGs stay for 7, some for 14 days. They do have the option to leave/quit any time they want to though, the PPS won't stop them.
- Google translate is quite marvellous but switching between Eng/Chn keyboards is tedious

Look at it the positive way, she probably telling you this because she likes you. She does sound like inexperienced.

Agree, trust nothing a prostitute tells you. My impression is she's attempting to work some sort of long game with you.... make no mistake, it's all about money with these girls. Some are more sophisticated than others is all.

As for numbers: My guess would be 7-8 on the low end, 12-14 on the higher end.

What's more interesting though is if she's being truthful and isn't getting business. Must mean the HG market is feeling an economic squeeze of some sort.

I agree with the other bros, don't trust them.

Every agent is different with fees and rules, but they are similar. Some agents don't allow the girls to leave, but they get a little more than 50/50. At least that's what I was told.

So who is this HG you are referring to?

Generally, based on what I've heard from my regular set of WG's, agent's actions etc... I believe the HG industry hasn't been as good as in the past. I'm not sure of the exact reasons, but perhaps part of it could be the price rise to 900 earlier in the year.

The most popular girls can be fully booked and this usually means around 17-20 customers a day...

But these days, I suspect the average to be around 4-7 customers a day maybe.

Most of the random facts you've been given are likely to be true.
- If a girl is popular enough, they usually can get a room for themselves.
- The so-called cheapo takeaway may be cheapo for us, but a common complaint is that food is so expensive in HK as that cheapo takeaway is still more than twice the price from their hometowns.
- The seven day visa can only be renewed if they do a visa run, usually to BKK for 3/4 days and they get the extra 7 days on their re-entry to HK. BTW, if you can travel on a whim with WG's, this is a good trip to go on!
- You will find that different agents have different rules and its not surprising to find an agent that won't allow them to leave or would voice great displeasure.

Yep been 'monitoring' the HG section in both eng and chn forums and other than not seeing her reports come up, also noticed a dearth of new reports in general. Maybe it's quiet season after all.

Then again she's gone radio silent on me the past 24hrs so maybe she drummed up some business after all

Relationships between the girls and punters are complicated so there are many reasons that they are not telling the truth with you. I wouldn't always assume the sinister ones.

If you enjoy a longer term view with the girls you'll need to learn and gain experience (maybe the hard ways) to deal with it.

Obviously there are some exceptions, but as a general rule they shouldn't be trusted. Reading back on this post, I may have missed the point in that ishy was feeling guilty that she ran out of money to buy food, but this was not explicitly said.

I guess I could have been more clear in my response, and this girl has not asked for much, so she may be telling the truth. That being said...I've had many girls that ask me to return, as i'm sure all the bros have, but I only return if I want to return not because I feel guilty. The fact that Bro ishy was thinking about seeing her because he felt bad for her is a dangerous road to take a step down. For me personally, I think it may be the simple fact that there are so many of them that need help to survive, and I do feel bad for all of them, but looking at the big picture there is really nothing that we can do unless we privatize them with a monthly income.

What do you mean by that exactly? That they aren't hurting for money?
As an aside to all of this: In nearly every 141 i've been in the girls always have two cell phones. Always.

Not that they aren't hurting for money, but they are either good at getting what they want, ie having a punter buy them a phone, or their priorities are in the wrong place as there are many chinese smartphones that have the same functionality that are a lot cheaper and seeing them one more time will not do much to help them.

I am in no way a seasoned punter but I have got friendly with a few girls now and all without exception have no understanding of money and yes they all have expensive cell phones. (ask obe about my stylish state or the art cell phone haha)

I have talked in depth with several girls and the concept of budgeting/ doing without was beyond them. I am talking Chinese, Philippino and Thai girls and the one thing they all had in common was no or little education.

Not all working girls are like this I am sure but even if you fund them monthly most will be broke before the month is up with most sent home to the family and the rest wasted on useless crap

Very common in my experience also.  They might be anywhere from doing okay, to struggling, to near destitute...but they all have iPhones or Samsung Galaxy/Notes.  One very recent WG I took on a date had both (iPhone and Galaxy) and Louis Vuitton purse.  Go figure...
