Days for best experience in Macau

Hi everyone,

Booked my trip to HK/Macau for 6 days.  Will probably hit Macau twice.
My question is, what days of the week should I go or avoid?  Should I go early or late in the day?  Avoid busy weekends or maybe chance it with the selection on less busy days?  I'm also potentially planning to stay overnight one time.  Best recommendation to do that will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

In order to answer this question properly, we need to know what you are looking for from your experience.

For example, are you looking for the excitement of tons of mongers going after tons of girls at a game-filled showtime? Or would you prefer a gimmick-free experience where a long line-up of girls are brought to your lounge chair for you to peruse and pick from?

It would also be useful to know whether you are interested only in selecting a girl for sex, or whether you also intend to enjoy several hours of lounge-banter with the lounge girls?

Saunas are expensive places to simply have sex. My suggestion to you is to read some of the longer, in-depth reports on the various saunas, then tell us what an "ideal" experience would look like to you. Truly, many people look for many different things, so this would be helpful.

But as a first stab:

For volume of girls, excitement and busy-ness: 18 at 10:30PM on a Saturday night.

For a more relaxed time but still a lets-all-go-to-the-pool-and-choose-a-girl showtime: Rio at 9PM any night (but 7PM Fri/Sat).

For the ultimate in laid-back, gimmick-free, professional service, with the girls brought to your lounge chair, Familia Nobre at the same times as mentioned for Rio (but FN will likely be quieter except Fri/Sat).

Many other wonderful choices too, you just gotta read through some reports and let us know what you like.

You can also head to the Divino (at AIA building) for a drink and grab couple of striptease. Or try the more rowdy version, Playmate club where you have the 'take out' option.

Thanks for the reply.

Since this is my first time in Macau, I don't really know what I like.  Since I have a little bit of time and money to burn, I thought I would go find out.

Mostly I'm looking to be pampered and spend as much time as I can in the saunas as I can as this is the sole reason for my trips. I'm probably going to try to experience 3-4 different places.  It's been fun reading up on the various options and don't need help on that front as much.

I mainly need advice in terms of overnight stay(probably Tues, Wed, or Thurs so it's less busy?) that will be restful and potentially play a little more in the morning.  I sleep very well anywhere but I think I might require a room. Considering East Spa, Rio, or 18 for that. Are these choices good for some light work? I know some saunas can provide laptops.  Are there no games during offpeak hours? I gather there are no bad times to go to Macau?  Correct me if I'm wrong.

It's probably the only time I will ever go to Macau as a single guy and I'm looking to explore.  Mistakes might be made but that's the fun of it.  I don't think I can go too wrong.

If u wanna be able to get some sleep its better to go when it's less crowded. Unless if you are like me who can still sleep even when there are loud snores and people walking about noisily. Not so sure about getting a room in a sauna (if that is what you meant) but if you wanna get some proper sleep you should book a hotel room of course (this will also be convenient for you in case if you get lucky with the sauna lounge ladies)

I think the saunas will be able to provide laptops but probably don't expect to get a MacBook Pro or some nice Windows UltraBook. I asked for one in FN last time and they brought me a huge ass laptop from 5 or 6 years back, and its laggy as hell. After that I just brought my own if I need to catch up on my work stuff. In East Spa you probably would not be able to do any work, considering the lounge's compact size, the amount of punters around, the frequency of the lounge ladies offering you massages and also the tease showtime. But I think it's still possible, when you wanna do your work you can just move to one of the lounge rooms used for sleeping (its quiet there, except for the occasional snorlax), when you wanna play you can move back to the main lounge and enjoy groping the line up girls during show time.

Never been to Rio but I've been to 18 once and I didn't like it. And I don't think its possible for you to do any sort of work in there, due to the sheer amount of punters around. I think if you wanna do some work you should probably choose FN, due to the spacious lounge area and the attendants/managers/lounge staffs rarely bothers you. They rarely do a show time in FN though.

The recently opened East Castle may be good if you wanna try their AV themed sessions. Personally I find it rather overrated. Yeah, its a bit different but the scripts/roleplay parts are all in Mando/Canto so unless you speak the language its kinda pointless since majority of the girls there could barely speak any English. Otherwise, the Chinese line-up girls here are all lovely and beautiful (as always, expected of the East group) and the lounge is pretty comfy. Surprisingly, the lounge staffs did not really bother me much, which is strange considering how much I've been pestered by them in East Spa.

Sorry I ranted nonsense. Single guy working alone in HK staying for months in hotel rooms, I get bored easily nowadays. Enjoy your Macau solo exploration (or sexploration). It's definitely fun, trust me.

I think you need to decide whether you are going to try and "take home" a girl from the sauna (either a lounge girl or a line-up girl). If so, you'll need a hotel such as Rio, Golden Dragon, Holiday Inn, Lisboa, or one of the fancier (but further away from saunas) hotels on Cotai.

But if you will restrict your activities to "at the sauna", then you can sleep at the saunas. But on Fri/Sat nights, it will be crowded there -- maybe not too pleasant. Check agoda.com for hotel rates, since you may decide that getting a good night's sleep (even without a girl) makes for better punting the next day.

Suggestion:

1) Take 2pm ferry. Taxi to Darling 1. Enjoy service there.
2) Walk around Macau for a while.
3) Wander into the Lisboa Hotel and find the famous "Lisboa Racetrack". Have a cup of tea in the coffee shop there, and watch them race.
4) Around 7-8, end up at 18 for the sheer volume of girls. Enjoy and spend money and time. Either sleep there or get a room or ferry back to HK -- your choice.

Next day

5) The problem with Macau is that there's nothing to do during the day unless you gamble or take home a girl overnight. However, if you enjoyed Darling 1 yesterday, try it again in the afternoon!
6) If you're into it, try one of the outcall massage services such as Viva Tantra. If not, well, amuse yourself for the rest of the daytime.
7) Around 7 - 8, end up at one of the other saunas such as Rio, Familia Nobre, Golden, Emperor, and so on (they are in the Macau Hunting Info sticky thread). Enjoy until exhausted. Then sleep, return to hotel, or return to HK.

Note: Ferries to/from HK run around the clock (24 hours), so you can catch one back to HK even in the wee hours of the morning if you like.

Looking forward to your reports.

Best days for Macau

The weekends or public holidays are always mad busy, although i have never seen RIO slammed to capacity, but 18 & East Spa can get very very full

Its hard to say which day will be the quietest, i've been there on very busy Sundays & Mondays, and Thurs leading into weekend, but Tues/Wed would be the days i would say are quietes

Last year i had a mid week escape to EAST SPA on a wednesday afternoon, got there about 3.30 and was pretty much the only person there for a couple of hours which meant i got plenty of attention from the few service girls who were on duty, one of whom gave a very enthusiastic shower BJ asking me to choose her for full service, and from the lounge and massage girls, who seemed more happy to have someone to chat to than to oversell their services

for sheer numbers i would suggest 18, for opulance RIO, or perhaps the new East Spa Castle or the new spa THE ONE at Landmark

But i will say my fave sauna is still East Spa, and highly recomend taking a full day of fun there!

Thanks everyone for indulging me. Getting some really good ideas.
Dumb questions but are the lockers at the saunas able to accommodate a medium sized day pack? Are my stuff accessible during my stay or only when I leave?  I wear contacts and I may want to replace them if I have an extended stay.
Thanks for the help everyone, just trying to wrap my head around so much fun awaiting me.

You should be able to fit a day pack in the locker. Just don't show up equipped for a week on Mt. Everest. Or, if you do, they'll store it behind the desk for you.

You are able to come back to the changing room area and access your locker as many times and as often as you like. Both you and the locker attendant will use keys to open your locker. Once finished, your locker will be re-locked, and you can wander back into the pool/lounge areas. So, no problem changing contacts.

Thanks!

Gonna do HK 141 and HG also.  Any point of doing HK sauna since I'll be doing so much of it in Macau?  I haven't read about any HK sauna with a large lineup or fishbowl that quite compares.

There are reasons to do HK saunas. But based on what you've shared, I think you could skip them this time around. Find a well reviewed 141 girl, a well reviewed HG organization, and a well reviewed Macau sauna. That and Wan Chai ought to keep you busy.

How to get overnight in Macau :

2) Pick up at clubs such as D2 or Divino's (see the Macau Punting Map in the Macau Hunting Info sticky for locations).

3) Take a line-up girl home from the sauna (but you'll need to wait until the end of her shift)

4) Take a lounge girl home from the sauna (but you'll need to wait until the end of her shift). Lounge girl shifts change at different times in different saunas. For example, in Rio, there's a shift change at 9:30pm, so you can go a couple hours earlier, play with the lounge girls, pick one to take home (remembering that not all lounge girls go home with customers -- some do, some don't), and have a good overnight with her. For $1500 you will be her hero. On the other hand, at Familia Nobre, shift changes are staggered throughout the night. 18 is similar to Rio, but the girls are (in my opinion) not as pretty. But they are hungrier.

thanks a lot bro ggherkin for your valuable information. I think it would be better if I share to other bros here
