Hey, I'm newb in the field of spas. I was in a certain area in China (let's say somewhere in Guangxi) and there were no field reports on that area. I went around and looked for spas, but in the end i was reluctant to go in, fearing that their massages do not offer what I was expecting.

So, how do you know if a Spa/massage parlour offers massage+hj? I don't feel like asking the receptionist about this, and is there a subtle way to ask this? How do you ask this in Chinese?

Thanks. I saw a spa called "Good morning massage" but there were like 10 people around the counter, mix of gender. I dare not waltz in and ask for a you-know-what.

I have only been to one spa in China that did not offer a HJ.  It was a five star hotel and they had a KTV for that sort of thing.  They did not have a sauna.

Anyway, if you are supposed to pay first, generally the Thai massage is a sure bet for HJ, or any massage with oil.  If you take your wallet into the room with you, then you can usually get the cheapest massage of an hour or more, because you will be negotiating directly with the girl.  

If you make a mistake, and did not pay for a massage that includes a HJ, but one is available, they will simply adjust the bill after.

Also, I have found that if you stare at the menu for more than 5 seconds, they will simply point to one and/or offer you a certain price.  That's the one you want.

All sauna's in china offers HJ, you just need to know which massage to choose, and even if the massage service you selected don't offer it, sometimes the girls will hint that they can do it for you.

Not all SPA /SAuna....China is not as evil as you think.

I think they all do, although they are legit places and offer legit service, you just have to communicate with the masseuse, some offer them openly but not all.
It all depends on if the masseuse wants to make that extra rmb.

I tried Queen's Spa. It's a mix Spa and although the girls you choose (from a computer screen) looks hot, they do not do the HJ. In fact I tried to coyly ask if these thing's happen. She immediately said this is a legit place and they can't do it for fear of the sack.....

When I went to GZ a while back, I stayed at a nice fancy hotel called Star Hotel Guangzhou, located in East GZ right beside the
train station. In the lobby area, they had a massage room for your feet.. being curious, I asked how much the massage was since
I walked around the east area in foot and couldn't find any massage parlours/spas, etc. (didn't know the area well, 1st time there)..
she then told me she can go up to my room for a massage (was expecting she would offer sex) but it was just massage only...
then she asked me if I wanted a HJ, which would more - didn't expect a nice hotel like that to offer HJ.

On another embarassing note; when I was living in southern Taiwan, it was hard to find good massage parlors that offer
special service.. was riding my bike one night and walked into a massage joint at 4am, and asked how much a massage was...
the lady then looked at me all weird, and said, "we don't offer that type of service" lol

queens is a legit place, but someone here did get a HJ service, even if there is a risk of getting sack, they are after the money, jobs are all over SZ, they get sack they just work for another place.
It's not a service that they advertise on the menu, it's something that is done behind the managements back and risk losing their jobs.

Queen Spa is a legit place on the surface, but HEs are extremely common there too (from the oil masseuses, the thigh masseuses, and even the shoulder masseuses)...
