Random 141 Walk-up question.

Is it difficult for English only speakers to punt in this environment? I have punted a few times in HK but it's only been with hotel walk-ins. I'll note that none of them spoke English and I did ok. Also would the use of google translate on my phone be helpful?
Thanks!

Google translate will of course be useful for certain words and maybe even certain phrases.
But to be honest, how much do you need to communicate while punting? $ is pretty much the only thing you need, and maybe time. Even if you don't speak Chinese, you can still write it down on your phone, hand gestures or you could even just learn it. You only need to know a certain price range as well.

In between translators on your phone and gesturing you'll be fine. If in doubt use a calculator, a bit nerdish but after a few "misunderstandings" it clears things up
