So, whether this is true or not, I dont know, but this is the reason why it happens. Sorry it happens, Bro.

Almost every Saturday I have been to Wanchai, there has been a big group of Indian guys or middle eastern guys outside of one of the clubs complaining about the cover charge. Also, it seems to be purely up to the doorman, so I see them passing some guys, and holding up others. Maybe dressing a bit nicer might help, but probably not. I'm European, so theyve never stopped me, even when I leave after like 10 minutes and the come back later. I try to dress 1/2 way decent, though. Slacks or nice jeans. Shirt with collar, shoes made of leather. Not sure if it makesa difference or not.

But if you are good looking Indian/Chinese properly dressed and if you are a regular, they won't charge you at all. Might charge you for the first time.   I know this because I am an Indian and I went with my dad's colleague (also an Indian) to one of the bars on the first floor (makati I guess). He was a regular there and he also knew some girls working there. So we didn't get charged at all. But this was more than an year ago. Don't know about now.       If you watch Russell Peters, you will get a more clear understanding.
