Dear Fellow Punters

I propose a new thread investigating differing views on how to decrease the likelihood of bad punts and increase the likelihood of good punts.

To start, I have just enjoyed my first week of punting in HK and have enjoyed a huge variety in quality between punts. See my recent reports, which range from walking out half way through (I do have some standards) to continuing to dream today of I saw like Ting Ting and Yip Chi.

The variety is I think because the market is made up of a mixture Of young inexperienced WGs who only work for two weeks and then return to the mainland, and experienced and wise WGs and Agents who know the punters are a combination of weekend warriors and hardened local Mongers.

I Guess from the outside that for the local punters the key to successful punting in HK is getting to know good agents on a personal (Guanxi) level and asking them to keep you fed with WGs that suit your requirements.

And for the tourists like me, I have no idea as yet. The adverts in sex141 , like the world over, are bait and can't be reliedon.  So a beginner has to punt and punt to try to find patterns.

All I have found so far is that:

1. Offering a steady flow of dollars for a week for the best punts gets abused by agents. They see you as an ATM and justtry to work you over.

2.  If you find a good WG, call her agent straight afterwards to say thanks my friend, who else have you got?  I like your choice in girls.  Then talk it through.

3.  If you find a bad b&s, immediatley reject, phone the agent and tell them politely. They MAY offer you a better standard next time.

4.  If you then get a second bad b&s, immediatley reject, phone the agent and politely tell them that although you will be punting for another x days you won't be using them again. The agents obviously talk to each other.

Otherwise I am completely in the dark. And love it!

2. certainly works. I have a favourite agent who now texts me if a hot girl is about to start a tour of duty.

We can't cheat the odds, just massage them a little in our favour.
