#1 Post at 8-6-2012 23:33  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Mongering alone or in a group? Hi, one question is in my mind. 2 Years ago i was in HK and was mongering in Nep2 and Escape - alone. I will spend another week in summer there and I wonder whether the experience is any better if acting with a friend or in a group. I personally was not good in getting into talks with the ladies. Yeah i know ... its not the reason we go there. But just to warm up with the girl and sense the mood of the girl i'd like to spend some time before. Furthermore, the girls like to get some drinks sponsored. Apart from that, i got the feeling wherever couple of guys was standing bulked with some of the girls they had more fun than those who stood alone with one or more girls. So what is your experience? Do you prefer to go lonely into the fight or with mates/friends/colleagues? (I tried forum search but didn't find any reasonable post on this topic. Sorry when it was discussed already)

If you find the one-on-one conversation awkward try picking up two or three girls in a group for chit-chat.  Not that you have to take them all back to your room, but I've always made a habit of buying drinks for the girl I want AND her friends.  Sure it's more expensive, but it's a fun situation and more of a party atmosphere when you do that and the girls really appreciate it. #5 Post at 9-6-2012 00:49  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Go to Neptune 2 early, around 7, and get a booth.  Order some food.  I guarantee you that girls will flock to your table and eat all the food.  You will have your own little party.  As the night goes on you will look like a serious player because you have a booth and tons of girls.  They might wander off to try to pick up a monger, but they will return to your table between tries. My point is, even going solo you can make your own group.

I just hang out in a "normal" bar (i thing it was the argave) for some food observing the curtain bar opposite of the street and tried to bet which passing guy they get in (they have a really bad success rate ;) ). Later another guy i'd never seen sat next to me and we got into a talk. Again later the evening we were leaving together to the escape club. Was really a nice experience and it was much easier to handle the girls. No idea why. Normaly this could work, because Wan Chai seems full of also lonely buisiness man and travelers.

Open to meet fellow bro for a beer and exchange thoughts. Not a fan of big loud groups. Next trip in early septmeber to Angeles City and Hainan / Haikou. I've never been to a bar alone so it does seem a bit strange not knowing what to do when your alone.

But then one day I was like, fuck it. When I am at home alone I like to have a quiet drink and think. So why not sit and drink alone in public and think? So I started drinking in bars by myself, and found that I loved it. Even in civvie bars, being alone is like an excuse to meet new people. In a WG bar, it's pretty much an invitation. At a place like wanchai, going in by myself, ordering a double of jack (always neat) and just finding a table to sit and watch the shenanigans can be as good as watching a movie. And when that get boring, ou can call over any girl Yu want and have a chat. Once I did it a couple times, it got damn near addicting. I don't think I'll ever want a wingman.
